Hi everybody! Thank you for your support and kind words 💖 This video was recorded 8 years ago and it reminds me of my first years as a oboe soloist. Last february I released my first CD album of Oboe Concertos of Strauss and Mozart, the one from this video indeed! 🌟 It was recorded with Divan Orchestra and conducted by my dearest Daniel Barenboim. I leave you here the link just in case you're interested in listen to it or get it! 😊➡️ www.warnerclassics.com/release/mozart-strauss-oboe-concertos
There once was a man named Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Physically, he lived a mere thirty-five years. He lived on through his beautiful music for 225 years more and counting.
I find the oboe to be an instrument that can either sound annoying and nasal, or extremely beautiful, it depends on the player. She pulls it off incredibly well.
Gimme Shelter Yeah. I play the oboe, and I can second that. But the commenter isn’t wrong. Still a thing that goes for all instruments - they all have the ability to sound beautiful or annoying.
Escuchar y deleitarse , belleza total!!!!
WOW!! Very nicely done. I played oboe 9, 10, and 11th grade during concert season flute/piccolo during marching season. Oboe has to be the hardest wind instrument. Especially to produce a really nice tone. WELL DONE young lady.
really enjoyed listening to this - oboe my favorite Mozart concerto - second would be flute, next bassoon , then clarinet & violin equal - this girl really plays oboe beautiful
You're missing the point... Sure all professional musicians are where they are because of their talents. She has the bonus of being beautiful which can set her apart from all the other very talented musicians.
...not a huge fan of the violins. A little too harsh, I prefer a softer Mozart. But wow, she's brilliant, I enjoyed her playing despite the small changes. Nice cadenza, too. Also, is it just me or is this orchestra smaller than usual for this concerto? I don't actually know all that much about this concerto, so I'm not sure. But I thought it was around 8-10 each for both first and second violin?

Some of those trills were ingenious. A embellishment that I've never heard before. Very well done.

Oh I wish my oboe skills were this good

unless you can play the oboe - don't go making opinions like this - its bloody hard to learn and play

The Oboe mastered ! Thank You
She just released another CD playing the same concert with Divan Orchestra conducted by Daniel Barenboim. Congratulations Cristina!
18:52 That cello girl's smile 🤣🤣🤣
My God...that CELLIST. 2:01. Why the heck, HOW the heck does she not have a solo career??
+Vera Evans My God, you're right. She is "model class" stunning and should be on a CD cover with her name on it.
She is HOT
Professional musicians are where they are because of their talent, not their looks. This oboe soloist is amazing but that orchestra sounds heinous.

Wow! Beautiful job!
The lady has a better sound than many famose players.

She is superb. She plays with such exertion one has to wonder if it is good for her health.
So beautiful!
Bravísima Cristina!!! :)
Estoy encantada con esta mujer.
wonderful oboist!
very nice playing :)
Complimenti suono bellissimo!
Well, she is the soloist !
Her oboe is a Ludwig-Frank I think - probably a 12 brilliant.
Yes it is a 12 Brilliant from Ludwig Frank
Amazing
Still very nice what and hiw you are playing Cristina

What a talent!
What other woodwind instruments are being played in this?
it is a Ludwig Frank oboe
nodame cantabile anyone?
+nk171283 Yes. :D
nodame cantabile lovers
Fine performance. Did she take a pinch too much liberty with the melody a couple of times?
George Kosich no
I believe that's called interpretation.....I liked it.
questa è un'artista!
Como le hace para memorizarse ?
gaetano marotti polistrumentista autodidatta musica meravigliosa
❤️
I love the oboe player but the people behind look annoyed lol. And at 14:50 is one of my favorite
+Ruben Bianchi Oboe Concerto in C major, K. 314
her neck o_O
In Site I had an oboe teacher whose neck did that too.
Just like one of his flute concertos but a whole step down
This one was originally written for oboe then transcribed for flute. It's in C major here and D major for flute.
1:55
19:45 Anybody noticed ?
She fubbed a few notes but no big deal.
oh my god that was such a weird instrument
