I’ve been riding the 56mm 93 dragons for almost a year so when the 56mm nano cubics came out I had to get them but I’m so used to the 93 that the 97 nano cubics feel so much harder and honestly I think I’m gonna have to get the 93 nano cubics but I definitely felt the difference when getting into and out of slappys and other grinds. I honestly love this wheel shape and it’s definitely something people have to try
Imagine if Andy and Rodney sat down and put their genious together, what could become of that colab?
I wonder if the two of them have ever gotten together and nerded out talking skateboarding.
I would listen to hours of that convo!
Dude, that intro gets me every time!!! Love The innovation of Powell Peralta! Love thses wheels.
Back in 1985 I bought some Powell III's. They are the same thing as the cubic wheel. Big fat doughnut wheels. Later I put them in a clamp and hacksawed them in half and made the world's first modern skate wheel. Same size as the green dragons. My ollie instantly went 6 inches higher.
I have a set on my wishlist. Hope Mr Satan brings me a set for Xmas!
I could watch Andy and Chris heitt all day. Stoked on these wheels
I've been waiting for a wheel like this. They remind me of smaller 80s wheels. Very excited.
GREAT VIDEO ANDY. IT WAS THE MOST COMPREHENSIVE VIDEO I HAVE EVER WATCHED. I MAY HAVE TO BUY A SET OF WHEELS LIKE THAT. THOSE BOARDS ARE SO SICK. HOW THEY TAPER IN THE MIDDLE IS SO BADASS. ANDY IS LIKE THE OLD SCHOOL BUT FUTURISTIC PHENOM WHOS FORTE IS TO SLAY ALL PLACES THAT HE FUCKING SKATES LIKE AN OG FROM THE STREETS.
I like the recessed axle and nut, wish other companies do that too.
Thanks for sharing.🦾🛹🧬
The Legendary Andy Anderson. 🍀♾️❤️🔥
Thanks for sharing your genius with the world
🧙🏽♂️
Believe in yourselves. ❤️🔥♾️🍀
Damn I thought this was a new skate part. The anticipation is real.
Thank you Andy 🤘🏼🙏🏻
I've fallen in love with my dragons 93A 58mm, I was depressed as frick when i heard your wheels only came 97A 52mm, bUT WHEN YOU SAID YOU MADE MORE I IMMEDIATELY BOUGHT THEM BEFORE THE VID ENDED THANK YOU ANDY!
Andy trying to make skating easier, I love it 👏🏼. There's a beveled flat bar at my local park and locking 50s is a dirty sob. I bet these would help a lot.
Sick that you finally did kind of a break down of these. Would you call it a street-freestyle hybrid or recommend it to people who want a wheel that performs good in both areas?
Andy Anderson for me is the best of this era (sorry for my English).
Ο Άντι Άντερσον για εμένα!
Είναι ο καλύτερος.
Για την γενιά του, την εποχή του.
❤Powell...great products, great skaters, great company 😎👍🔥
Yooo it's dope y'all are doing different sizes n durometer.
I've already got the 52mm 97a on my 9.5" egg.
I'm keen to try the 60mm 93a on my heroin 10.5" curb crusher 👊
Great video
These wheels are awesome!! Now i need to save up for a set on my cruzer!!!
Ive had the nanos and they are sick. But my favorite part is the fact that they slide better than any other wheel ive ever had
Any issues with flatspots?
@@petergriffen437 no actually I've slid them so much they've probably halved in size and there is no flatspots. Unfortunately they do wear out kinda fast if you're into power slides.
@@mRSasha-dv3mb I'm a beginner, not huge into slides and stuff but was just curious to hear if they flat spot, for the price these wheels look amazing, thank you for the response. Might have to get some of these soon!
Imagine not living this guy
there are a lot of haters out there and I'm like...y'all must be miserable people, smh.
I can I’m prob better then both of you at a skating I’m super chill and funny and me and all my homies think Andy is lame just not a cool skater in our opinion no hate but you guy are the lame weird ones like no hate Andy Is good but trust the majority of people think his style is goofy and he’s good but a lot of skaters care about not looking goofy
I got these wheels and they are amazing, 93A will probably feel even better for streets.
Just keep in mind that they will make your trucks about 1/4 inch wider, each wheel will add about 10 grams to your setup and 5mm bigger contact surface.
If you ride 8.25 board on low trucks (that are usually up to 8 inch wide) these wheels will be a perfect match.
good to know thanks
Finally after 3 months of waiting, I got me some of those wheels. Absolutely love them. Wish they could come a Lil bigger tho.. 56mm or 60mm. But great wheels!!!
I have Andy's complete set-up! I have Braille Trucks but they are made by Mini Logo like his
Dozens of wheels shaped like this in the 80s . Reminds me of Powell 3s yet but narrower.
Dope 🔥
I got a set of them for my new Baby Heron deck and I dig them so far.
i been loving this shape on the 60mm dragons! finally able to grind the far edge of my trucks & lock in (+:
the 93s are on my xmas list!
Thx Andy & George. Now that they're in 56 lm gonna have to get the 56 97
I just love listening to Andy explain why he does something and the reasoning behind it. Really awesome dude!!
Experimental wheels is wild. Andy's always awesome 😅
I have these 52mm 97 Nano wheels, I really like them! Reminder for people, these wheels are wide therefore they are heavy. I ride light trucks with these. I skate mainly flatground, but if i want I can do varial railflip with these, I can!
YOU ANDY ARE A LOYAL GUY, MAYBE THE MOST LOYAL SKATER IN SKATEBORDING.
YOU RESPECT WHAT POWELL HAS DONE FOR YOU.
("ACE AFI'" TRUCKS) WOULD BE SO NICE UNDER YOUR BOARD.
IN ALL HONESTY IT SHOWS HOW TALANTED YOU ARE.
CUZ IF YOU RODE LIKE THUNDER OR ACE, MAN THEY WOULD LOOK GOOD ON UR SETUP.
SOME TITANIUM ACE TRUCKS. ''THAT THEY MAKE JUST FOR YOU THE ANDY ANDERSON ACE TITANIUMS''
These wheels make the contact patch stick out 3/8" wider than traditional?
Cant wait to get my hands on the 58mm 93 nanos! think it will be the ultimate setup for me with my flight deck and mag light trucks, cant wait to try them out
If I buy these wheels will I skate like you Andy?
Andy Rules.!!!
I love Andy. He's actually trying to make new products that make sense. Kind of like Nintendo are always innovating and actually pushing things forwards.
Remember shark wheels 😬 how progressive 🤪 stunning and brave 🤦🏼♂️
Not really he is just trying to take everything from the 80s and putting it all on shitty modern shape.
@@ST3PH3N89"innovation"
As a kid I used to try rail stand stuff all the time but only did it on linoleum tile so it wouldn’t ruin my trucks. These wheels are seriously a god send too sick
yeah but he’s got two watches on..what’s up with that? 😂
Been skating the Nano Cubics for 2 months, awesome wheels. 🛹🛹🛹
I'm need to know the size of the truck... also why is the truck that you were ripping not out did they just not work out
What size trucks fit that board perfectly
Best wheel I’ve skated. Only wheel I’ll skate from here!
My question is now: my deck is 8.45 , i have mini logo trucks of 8.38 and nano cubics or better 8.0 trucks ???
I'm going to try them I'm just worried after a while of skating them that they will wear and my board will sit at a stance like a muscle car
Nice! I'm planning on picking up a set of these for a freestyle board! I've been using the 53a Dragons for a little over a year now (full review on my channel) and I LOVE them. Love seeing innovation and new ideas in skateboarding.
53a is pretty soft
@@joe.nail1 no 53A dragons exist...so either they meant 53mm or 93A.
What truck’s fit that board?they look smaller then 8.38 model I know they are mini logo for sure just curious
8.0 trucks with nano’s, or 8.38 trucks with regular wheels
Shoes, Decks, Wheels and now grip tape ...wonder what Andy has cooking for trucks? Crazy thing is there was a Grind King G2 set that came out in the 90's with crude suspension bushings but had allen bolts for the wheels so they sort of did the same as the Nanos as far as being protected. I guess they came out right when the deck bolt patterns got changed so they couldn't be used with new decks. They also had plug hardware but can't find any reference on the internet for them.
Andy Anderson is the cheat code for skateboarding. #Genius
Hell yeah
Whats his truck size on The egg?
Still curious why andy threw batb.
⚠⚠⚠🔥🔥🔥
They are the perfect wheel.
No need for the pitch, bro. I copped a set of 52mm's already. They are wider than I usually like, but I'm really stoked on these wheels. I ride these at the park and the 54mm 93a dragons on my street board.
Wide wheels. Sounds like I'll need to keep my eight inch trucks if I want to skate these wheels on a deck eight five to eight two five. Wheels look great, man.
Seems like there is room to improve the design to reduce the bearings exposure to dust. A dirty bearing sucks away good energy
They had wheels this same shape in 1997. They were the Bones Spade & Cross wheels.
I bought them! They work! And do what they say they do and because they are off set i feel safer dropping in
I thought it was just marketing snake oil, but they do exactly what Andy says. It’s so much easier to get 50/50 onto slappies and to lock into ledges and copings.
Amazing wheels.
lol! We had those wheels in the 80's 😂
Been riding my 93a dragons for six months. I am 6’”3 and 280lbs, so I and extremely hard on wheels. Before the dragons, I went through wheels every couple weeks. Now George needs to develop unbreakable kingpins and more durable bearings. My next wheels will be Nanos.
Definitely gotta get wheels that cover your nuts. Always protect the nuts.
They are good. I’m not a power wheel guy I’m OJ ,SPITFIRE fan. The dragons 58 mm are just so good. I’m an old head and I’ve skated where’s from everyone. I like these a lot ! Try the big boy stuff guys get a big gun and s9me 159 trucks and 58 mm. Specially for you guys around 6 ft 3 like me. You will thank Andy.

Wish it was not cold as fuck and and raining/wet snow. I want to get out and skate so bad.
Yo Drew; gotta riddle 4u -
'113MOd'
???
I love this 💖🥳🫒
*hint - It's like Tony Hawk; upside down and backwards 😋🫒
It's also written on your wheels bro 😅
Gonna be spray painting 113MOd everywhere now 😅
Love my Dragon’s 🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉🐉
Man I was gonna be 1000th like but feels too sick to keep it at 999
I feel like Hubba wheels did this way back in the day honestly everyone is just trying to make Hubbas again, a slightly softer street wheel. The closest feeling wheel to hubbas is formula 4s and i really miss hubbas but Im going to be Spitfire til death now but its cool everyone is trying to make hubbas again best wheels ever
I remember my homie Coddi used to ride hubbas ! Never tried em myself
@@authenticandyanderson you would have loved em The Dave Bachinsky Hubba mini ramp video Bachinskys Gone Wild was sick! But i miss those wheels every day
bring back og 95A Rat Bones!!
a ton has been done on what is available
your board came out sick tho, down w folklore & I don’t skate
tho I had Cab board, bullet shape 88, red with dragon on bottom side,
You can still rotate them. They should be rotated cross corners anyway..
I want to hear Rodney Mullen and him talk in a podcast
Bruh why you have 2 watches?
60mm could be nice on my cruiser ?
i got some dragon wheels, but still don't really like them yet... bit too hard & loud
Nano cubix t-shirts that read protect your nuts. pretty much writes itself
How bout some 50s!!?👍
The thing is. Everything has been already been invented and tested before, the boards wheels everything. We old skaters like it. But all of this whit wheel shapes, carbon in boards and so on is old news for us grumpy old men. But we like it and are the first to buy new stuff. The new urethane is a new thing though..
Kids a genius.
Didn't know he was a Swatch enthusiast..
He's sponsored by them.
g&s kryptonics

What's Andy's set up gonna be 5 years from now after all this experimenting?.....8" popsicle, 52mm wheels🤣
🫶 &&
I never saw anyone driving these in Germany.....
I do 😀
Those are just roller skate wheels? 🛼😂🤣😂
&y; send me an helmet; I'll wear it to bed 😋😇🫒
😳🙄コンクリート以外の道や平野等でも行けるのですか?👻👿
Spitfire lock-in fulls…nothing new here.
Those don't cover the axle nuts
I just hate wheels that don’t cover the axle nuts. IT JUST DOESN’T MAKE SENSE! it’s a complete industry pattern that should be not allowed.
I'ma buy em for my peralta set-up
Im pretty sure that's old tech. I used to have a board when i was a kid that had wheels shaped like that.
Like to see Yamamoto on Andy's cubes 🫒🤙😇🖍️ primos baby
Just get wheels that cover your nuts
there is no better wheel than the nano cubic and theres no doubt about it
