- What is 'Let's Gugak'?
'Let's Gugak' is a video lecture program released by the National Theater of Korea's Gugak Academy for Foreigners. The program is designed to ease the difficulties of conducting on-site educational programs caused by the pandemic and help foreigners at home and abroad meet and understand the traditional Korean art,' Gugak.'

📍 January 21 (THU) Introduction of Janggu Drum and simple rhythms
Did you know about Samullori Instrumental Music ? We will learn about Samullori Instrumental Music, Janggu Drum, and simple rhythms.
📍 January 28 (THU) How to play Janggu Drum and basic rhythms
Learning the basic sitting position and the right way to hold the Chae is essential to learn Janggu Drum. We will study the posture and playing techniques for Janggu Drum, as well as Ilchae, one of the basic rhythm that builds up the strength of the play.
📍 February 4 (THU) Byeoldalgeori Jangdan Rhythmic Cycle
"The light shines on us in the dark of night."
Let's play Byeoldalgeori Jangdan Rhythmic Cycle, the story of the stars and the moon.
📍 February 10 (WED) The birth of Pansori
It is said that the birth of Hangeul and the origin of Pansori are related. Let's learn about the birth of Pansori.
📍 February 18 (THU) The breathing techniques and vocalization of Pansori
Do you know the most crucial thing in Pansori? The most important thing is breathing, the second important thing is breathing, and the third is also breathing. So, let's find out how to breathe when you sing Pansori.

📍 March 18 (THU) The props used in Korean dance and basic upper body movements
We will talk about the props used in Korean dance, then learn the basic upper body movements, 'Gamgi,' 'Dwijibgi,' and 'Megi.' Then, we will create a dance routine with the lower body movements you learned last time.

‘Let’s Gugak’은 국립극장 외국인국악아카데미의 영상콘텐츠 버전으로, 대면교육의 어려움을 해소하고 국내외 외국인들이 한국전통예술인 ‘국악’을 쉽게 접근하고 이해할 수 있도록 제작한 교육콘텐츠입니다.

📍 1.21.(목) 국악 타악기 소개와 간단한 장단 배우기
사물놀이에 대해서 알고 계셨나요? 사물놀이 소개와 함께 전통 타악기인 장구에 대해 알아보고 간단한 장단을 배워봅니다.
📍 1.28.(목) 타법과 기본 장단
역시 기본인 앉는 자세와 채 잡는 법부터 바로 알고가야겠죠? 장구는 어떤 자세와 어떤 타법으로 연주하는지, 그리고 힘을 길러주는 장단인 1채까지 배워봅니다.

판소리에서는 어떤 음계가 쓰일까요? 판소리에서 가장 많이 쓰이는 육자배기 스케일에 대해 알아보고 배워보는 시간을 갖도록 합니다.

한국 춤을 멋지게 추려면? 호흡과 바람생각하기, 원 그리기, 몸 중심부의 리듬타기 이 세 가지 포인트에 대하여 정확히 알아보도록 합니다.
📍 3.11.(목) 한국 춤의 종류와 하체 기본동작
한국 춤 중에도 전통춤의 3가지 유형에 대해 알아본 후, 하체위주의 기본동작 ‘굴신’, ‘디딤’, ‘뛰기’를 마스터해보도록 합니다.
📍 3.18.(목) 한국 춤의 소품과 상체 기본동작
한국 춤에 쓰인 소품을 알아본 후, 상체 기본동작 ‘감기’, ‘뒤집기’, ‘메기’를 배워봅니다. 저번시간에 배운 하체동작과 연결하여 춤 덩어리를 만들 수 있을까요?
