Growing up in Mysore, it was a safe place but full of eve teasers, bad bus drivers/conductors/auto drivers and too many strikes. We had been terrorised many times during communal riots in the 80's. But overall a safe place! We could shop past 9pm and return home safe. Kudos to such a dedicated police department🙏
