- In this video I give a short tour and test drive of a 1999 Buick LeSabre Custom. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I show the car idling as well as take it on a thorough test drive through the city and highway on various surfaces. A thorough drive of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

I own a 1999 Buick LeSabre Limited and I love it. It's safe, it's comfortable, and it has a nice sound system.
My dad had a 1995 Lesabre, and a 1991 Lesabre! Amazing cars!
18 years old, 1997 Buick LeSabre Custom as my first car! 110,000 miles and $1500. Gotta say, you never notice Buicks until you drive one.
How long did you keep it for?
I had a '93 & loved it. It's like driving your couch around. I also loved the way the speedo looks.
Thanks for not playing the radio the whole time.
Gotta love Buicks, they may be an older persons car, but can be enjoyed by any age group.
Definitely a road trip car. Can picture myself driving this car from L.A. to Vegas

I did a ~ 4000 miles road trip with a rental 2017 Nissan Rogue (4 cylinder 2.5L) and definitely missed my 98 Lesabre. Me and my wife talked about the Buick especially when we try to pass another vehicle. Buick rocks!
My father had one of these. One of the last cars that truly floated down the road. Felt and drove like a car from the 1970s, minus the front wheel drive and six cylinder engine. Very reliable car. Had 230K when we sold it and as far I I know, it's still out there, running.
Just bought a '97 with 136k for $1500. Clean two owner car, can't wait to take it on a long drive.
You would love how the suspension makes even rough roads feel like newly paved asphalt even more.
Perfect example of a well engineered American automobile. I love the styling of these Buick's!
I own a 1997 custom. its a phenominal. Best car ive ever owned. motor is strong. rides like a caddy i believe.
I LOVE CARS.
Great car fun smoith
Me too
My grandparents bought a 1999 Buick Regal LS new back in that year. I absolutely loved that car. What I loved was how the exterior color and interior color matched. We got rid of it in 2010 because the AM/FM radio stopped working and the paint was peeling. I miss that car.
17 and buying my first car tomorrow - ‘99 Buick Lesabre. This looks likes an amazing car
Does it have an AUX plug in?
@@samuelcox8370 No, a tape deck. It does have a cigarette lighter/car charger though which you could use to plug in an aux.
Goes well for a v6, nice and quiet too.
About to buy a 98 with 80k. It's black and has no issues..can't believe the deal I got. Probably gonna tint the windows a little too just to make it a little less old looking lol. Had nothing but 3800 series engines in my cars...they're ridiculously reliable.
+Nate S. And fast.
Nate S. i have one now 107000 miles on it perfect nothing wrong i got it for $2400 and im satisfied
marlon glosson i wish i had got the one i was looking at..basically the guy selling it didn't have the title yet or inspected and was taking too long and i needed a car lol
Got to do what you got to do lol
Nate S. *3800*’s never die!
19 years old and I have a 1995 buick lesabre custom
I hear you and I can relate. Love the "broken wine glass stem" feel and sound of the turn signal stalk. GM kept this on their vehicles for years. Had it in my 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT.
This Buick is a perfect everyday commuter all season round especially when you have another car you use as your weekend warrior.
I have a 98 Lesabre that I have owned for almost 4 years and now has 136K and still runs excellent. I am hoping to pickup a 01 Park Avenue Ultra soon.
241k on my 98 and still going strong.
My dads has 227k right now he bought it for $600 and 7 years later still a damn good car
1999 buick lasabre still rollin
The is one for sale here in Austin for $2700 with 15500 miles it looks nice Should I get it ?
@@tonydominguez2906 drive it and see they're good cars
beautiful interior and car man
Gotta love the 3800 V6. I've got one in my 98 Grand Prix and I love it (the engine, the car is falling apart)
I love these cars. I drove one when my car was getting fixed. I would love to own one of these, but I know nothing about fixing cars.
you guys get some of the nicest cars at that dealership!
Gotta love your 3.8!!!
In the south Arkansas town where I live, there is litterally a 1999/2000 Buick LeSabre in every parking lot and at ever stop sign. Considering it's at least 30 miles to the nearest Buick dealer, there are even a huge number of recent model year Buicks here. This used to be Ford and Chevy country but it's Buick country now. My Bro-in-Law has a 99 Buick LeSabre Custom with 65,000 miles that he has parked but never drives. I'm going to offer to buy it from him.
i love how the flat dashboard is like being in a spaceship
I love the 🚗
It rolls smooth
I love these old cars. They glide and they're comfy like cabs. :)
Oh man that's a nice car! I really hate how people always stereotype Buicks as old people cars I mean I'm 15 and I love Buicks. Especially the Century, LeSabre, and the Park Avenue. I love the exhaust note.
wow i never knew channels like this existed I subbed!
After 10 years someone is saying hi
man im getting one of these cars next week. i cant wait and i hope its black or white
My friend has a 94 Lesabre... such a boat on wheels!
great acceleration!
My mom used to have one my mom is a nurse and she was taking care of someone and when she died her son gave my mom his moms car 1995 gold with tan clothe seats with 32,000 miles
That's exactly what my dad's car was only his 95 had like 250000 miles on it lmao
Takes me back to Drivers Ed. They were fun.
@saabkyle04 hows that camera stand work out for ya does it fall over going down the road
@jakesaintsrow123 hey is the ride smooth on that skylark? i'm interested in getting one if so..
I got a 97 recently, needed some TLC but for 2 grand and only 105k, it was a great bargain. It cruises and has a strong motor, great pickup. Just make sure with 100+k to do oil changes, check on the mass air intake sensor, the egr valve is clear of carbon or gunk and u keep it fueled properly. I destroyed my first car, an 86 Buick Regal but it kept on chugging. Buick makes a reliable car and mechanics love em. Biggest flaw is the driver/pass. side window have a bar down it, causes a blind spot
I remember it from all of the GM vehicles I rode in as a young child.
Thats a nice Buick! :)
i'm also 19 and i fuckin love my Buick!
How much dos it cost to fill up the tank
good afternoon kyle' that is a very nice buick Lesabre! awesome acceleration man!! buicks are very nice car's' we have a 1997 buick park avenue with over 114000 miles on it' it runs like a champ you take care and enjoy the day.
I have a 95 Buick Lesabre and its the best car ever. It has 34,000 miles on it all original miles, its rocks a supercharger off a pontiac bonneville sse. 12lbs. of boost no problems. I spend my days off wiping the floor with import trash, and the best part is that I still have AC, ps, pw. pd, etc. I have put a total of $300 in parts for the motor, best bang for buck
Speakers sound really good.
how often do you fill up? and how much?
Got love that 3800 V6
well i own a 1998 Bick lesabre and i must say i love it. i have a 2003 and a lucerene but this car has some power in that motor. i love buicks
This is that car that seems very nice but sometimes really gets treated like junk by others.
i like the steering wheel very much its unique and it just feels right
i love all buicks and 80's cars and i wish i had a buick... and just for the record i'm 15 :)
Why am I just now seeing this after 11 years??????? That beauty has to be long gone by now
Exactly my train of thought. If i do manage to get a Buick we are still going to keep the truck around for one of my brothers. Plus the biggest thing i would ever be carrying besides other people would be my 2 trombones for band class.
Nice!
looks nice ride :D and comfable :D
Damn, I thought my GTP was the only car that had that door chime. I haven't heard it in any other make or model until I watched this video.
My 1995 Lesabre had the headlight switch on the door panel, like the one in this video, but my 2003 Lesabre has it on the dash.
I'm trying to convince my parents to let me get a lesabre, roadmaster, or century for my first car. They want me to take my dad's 2004 f-150, but it has the 5.4 so I would be filling up way too often for working at a vacuum shop. These are a great alternative because of the build quality and interior space.
I know this is an old vid but I just wanted to point out that he said the car had manual seats. At 5:57 of the vid it shows the inside of the door and it definitely has a power drivers seat as the controls would indicate.
The seats or both. Forward and back on the seats are manual so is the lean back, but it has power control to raise the cushion and angle the seat.
My mom had a red interior and a white exterio on her chrystler... i forgot what it was called, paramouth, idk lol, but it was so soft and warm, and then it died :( I miss it, it was cool.
You said it has power everything, except seats. But if I'm not mistaken, I saw the power seat controls on the armrest in between the window and mirror controls!
Have you ever done a Lincoln LS?
@HaloQueen0216 Actually, this one in the video does have it. If you watch his full tour of the car, you will see that "Dynaride" symbol on the dash by the steering wheel.
1999? Damn, it looks like something from early 80's in the interior.
Okay Intechdude300
@rockman12367 That's totally true...they run good and are heck of a great quality car!
you are lucky. My mom and dad want me to take their truck while I want one of these.
Nice
@SanAndreasElevator the song is Bed, by J. Holiday
i have a 98 lesabre and i wouldnt trade it for anything. it is big, powerful, smooth and classy. i love driving it. the 3800 purrs like a kitty. the only drawback is the interior design, but mine has circular gauges and speedometer unlike this one for some reason.
p.s. kickass sound system
I have a 98 Buick Lesabre custom and I love it even though it is an old mans car according to my girlfriend. I own an auto repair business and maintaining it is inexpensive and easy. Before this car, I had a 2004 EB Expedition, but for 450/month it wasn't worth it because it sat in the driveway for days at a time since I am always driving my work vans. I spent $2,700 on the Buick with 83K and it was well worth it. I fit 3 child seats in the back without a problem.
Wish I could find one exactly like this.
Got one 44 000 miles white with same interior
2,500$ right now new brakes rotors and belts
are you in illinois it looks like it
That dash looks like a late 70s GM dash... But works well with this model.
The 3.8s are unique sounding
I love the sound the turn signal clicker makes. It is so much better than the electronic crap of today.
My 92 lesabre has some serious power. It totally feels like it has a supercharger in it. And when it's shifting, it really kicks. It's like, vroooooommmm........shift........VRRRRROOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!! hahaha, but seriously, it's got a lot of power. Ive always said that a lesabre is a muscle car at heart
just bought a 98 w 109k things mint
Some say that the LeSabre is the same as the Park Avenue , is that right ?
Do you think this is a good car for a cheap car ? or Taurus . What would be your pick ?
Get the Buick. They go forever...
The Buick is the far better choice. They are known for their durability. The 3800 V6 is all cast iron and they run for hundreds of thousands of miles.
The Park Avenue and the LeSabre are pretty much the same. The Park Avenue is generally the more "luxurious" choice, and maybe a few more features for passengers than the LeSabre, like cigarette lighters in the back seats, Lol. Definitely go for the Buick. Stay away from the Taurus's!! Lol.. I've heard stories about the transmissions in those things going bad frequently....
I have a Taurus and I am giving it to either my mom and my sister and getting a 97 buick
Lesabre
No, there is one major difference between the LeSabre and Park Avenue. the Park Avenue had the supercharged variant of the 3800 whereas the lesabre did not.
the 1992-1999 Buick Lesabre was assembled in
Flint, Michigan, United States
Got a 1998 LeSabre Custom...it's been sitting dead with a blown head gasket for a year. Everything else in it was fine, but they uh...have plastic parts in the engine that HAVE to be switched out. Learned that too late. 😔
Quite car for as old as it is wow.
That's supercharged right?
Appears to ride well.. maybe a little bouncy. How does it compare to a grand marquis?
I'm gettin a 95 lasebre , . Needa find how to change fuel pump , wonder how hard would it be . But can't wait guess Kuz it's my first car . But I like buicks regardless.
Davonta Kirklin autoparts stores can be helpful they can give the intructions on how to DIY jobs like that hopefully its located in the engine compartment, or you might have to drain and unbolt the gas tank, its probably easier than it sounds, key is to relax listen to a game or music and be safe while working with fuel.
Song Name
@falaqdad15 Oh Its Very Smooth. Is been a GREAT Car. It was Well looked after. I Bought it off of the original owners in 2010. is the one your interested In is a 1985 model?
depends what kind of job you have and what the purpose of use. trucks are great i have one but i use it for hauling and work. also depends what type of truck you want. i miss my regal for going all over.
Ur right. But if you noticed he kept to town roads. Now I challenge him to drive it down a rural road. BTW you should also try to go 55mph with just the back windows down....
my g-ma has a 95 lesabre imited bought it brand new and now only has 65k on it, fully loaded power everything, leather, dual zone climate, and all that good stuff, even has a tach. I only wish it has the series II, when i go from driving my 96 regal series II to her series 1, its a pretty big difference, but the lesabre has 10 times the smooth-er ride to it hands down
mine doesnt want to quit on me..i have no exhaust pipe, bushings and bolts on both front wheels need replaced, and I need to replace the fuel injector. Still runs fine..just at about 80% power.
letting her go for 700$ first come first serve
the car has 105K miles on it. again 700$ obo
just hit 70k in mine :D
is that the same motor in the04?
MrCovell007 yes
5:03 can you push that level any harder??
im 15 and LOVE buicks and lincolns but not the new ones a whole lot
BUICK GS-77 You are wise
BUICK GS-77 in 201i right now, I am 15 and my favorite brands are Pontiac, Cadillac, and Dodge.
I have sort of liked the look of this Car but I know filling it up from empty to full in Britain would be an out Rageous amount, anyway is that Car a Diesel or Unleaded Petrol/ Gasoline because I noticed you used the Fuel Nozzle with the Black Handle, and in Britain at the Petrol Station Black Handle indicates Diesel Fuel and the Green Handle indicates Unleaded Petrol and the Red Handle Indicates LRP (Lead Replacement Petrol)
it's unleaded. there's a plate on the dash warning to only use unleaded, under the speedo. If it was a diesel v6 it'd make a hell of a lot more noise as well!
The official car of a high school student in the late 2000s delivering pizza
I'm 18, looking for a new car and I'm looking specifically for something with a 3800 gm engine. I want something sportier, but you can't beat the price, reliability, and luxury of 90's buicks.
Ahh, that car looks so comfortable. Would probably look better if the interior was grey or something instead of red.
I've always liked to call this generation and the previous generation of the LeSabre, "The Little Old Lady Car". I'm also curious to what song was playing right when Kyle first turned on the radio, right before he changed the station.
It's by J Holiday called "Bed" . I'm black by the way 🤣
