That rear child seat (Hamax) is intended to be attached to the frame, on the downtube. Attaching it to the seatpost is dangerous. The seatpost has to withstand your weight + seat + child. This is way more weight than it was designed to handle, and it will eventually fail and cause a serious problems to both rider and child. And it's specially true on a Brompton where the seatpost is very long. Take care, and keep on doing your great videos!
Hi There, are you using a specific brand of hinge attachment for trailer? One which allows the rear wheel to be tucked under the bike without messing up the trailer arm? Thank you.
Hello, no it’s the « classic » hinge that comes with the trailer… in this case Croozer brand. It has some flexibility thanks to the spring that allows this rotation without messing up… hope it helps. Cheers!
I have a very similar setup with the seat post attached to the seat stem. Did you notice any issue with the stem? Is it robust enough to take the weight of both you and the child?
Yes I remember seeing your kid in front child seat in a different video. With Brompton I never tried one in back wheel or pulling seat so I just wanted to see. 😁

I have a Thule ride along attached to the stem. The looking system does not fit in the small frame space below the seat-stem attachment.
Your videos are like shorts..would love longer videos.. u seem a witty person..😇
😊😊😊thanks 🙏🏻, I’ll certainly make a few longer vidéos very soon! Thank you for watching 👍

Genial! I can take my 3 kids on a bike trip 😂👏💪
How does the trailer arm rotate with the bike folding? I’m looking at a burley trailer and that doesn’t work with the rear wheel folding.
Is there a towing limit? :)
