- Original Haunted Mansion ride through at Disneyland park in California shot in 4K 60FPS! This is a POV of the first day of the Original Haunted Mansion ride at Disneyland park. Before this, the Haunted Mansion had its holiday Overlay, Haunted Mansion Holiday which lasted from Late September to Early January. After a two-week hiatus, The Haunted Mansion is transformed back into its original state with its creep crypts and Ghosts that Harmonize. This version of Haunted Mansion is the same attraction that Walt Disney himself worked on and designed. Though the Haunted Mansion has changed massively since then, it still remains a classic ride while being one of the most popular attractions at Disneyland. The Original Haunted Mansion at Disneyland is a must-do for anyone visiting the park and usually does have shorter lines compared to other attractions.

Really mastering your craft bud-intro views, perfected camera settings and great angles. If you’re open to suggestions, we’d love to see a bit more of the queue-even if crowds are low and the overflow area isn’t being used (you can just help yourself to the area and cast members don’t mind). And once you’re in the paintings hallway at the back of the line, turn that camera around to see an empty hallway-it’s always one of my favorite things to do when in that attraction. Keep up the great work! 🖤
Really love all the small lighting flourishes they added from the pandemic renovation. Like the patchy light in the hallway of doors and the subtle wall backlight on the mirror scene at the end. It just makes the whole ride a lot more visually interesting and makes everything pop

At 4K, 60 Frames Per Second,, this video came out very clear. Like being on the ride with you.
Extreme Low Light, which used to be a must for Haunted Mansion video and many other dark rides, I guess no longer is necessary. Great job guys and gals of LMG.

None of us meaning my family, friends and I aren't risking our health and our lives traveling to Anaheim, CA where 2️⃣ Disney themed theme parks are both located, but there's no rule against watching a video of it anyway. Years ago I wrote a comment like this on a UA-cam video expressing that I prefer the original Mansion over the Holiday Nightmare Before Xmas overlay. I think I may have expressed that they should never do the overlay at all. I got such mean, hateful comments towards me. I understand many many guests enjoy and I think that’s great. At that time, it has been 11 years since I’ve been to Disneyland or Walt Disney World and was looking forward to riding the Haunted Mansion again. I didn’t expect a holiday version. Now that I live in Los Angeles, I get to go to Disneyland pretty regularly. I still prefer the original Haunted Mansion so much more.
The original haunted mansion is the best but the holiday overlay is awesome in its own way
I like both of them for different reasons. I love the holiday overlay because of all of the vibrant and cheerful energy it brings, but the original is just an iconic classic.
When hinges creak…when candlelight’s flicker..when strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls..when the air is deathly still..THAT is the time that GHOSTS are present.,practicing their terror, with GHOULISH delight.
Hrm… umbrella girl’s portrait in the stretching room was crumpled. I’m not gonna lie I get scared every time they switch overlays because I worry they’ll forget something or do stuff like that.

Great video! May I ask what is the camera equipment? I have been on the hunt for something that can do this level of low light.
I used an a7siii with an f2.0 lens for this. There are many cheaper options that can get you simulate results though

That was added in the last big overhaul to the haunted mansion in 2021
Is the portrait of the Ghost Host in the corridor of doors there? The last time I checked he wasn’t, but this was during the overly this year, so they probably removed it temporarily because of that, but I was just curious.
I went on it a few days ago and he's still there!

3:42 Is it me or is that dioluge new?
No, it's always been there. DL's Mansion has two lines which run in tandem. It will either say 'And now a carriage approaches...' or the one heard here 'The carriage that will carry you into...'. Basically instead if playing the same one over and over, it alternates every other time, it may be that by chance you have only heard the other line. WDW only ever has had the first line I mentioned, albeit is has been re-recorded in recent years by a soundalike to feature the 'feet and legs' and the Spanish bit. At DL the change was made on the Safety Bar Spiel, as at WDW there was no room to extend it as the original safety bar spiel goes straight into dialogue for the Library, etc. Good in a way, as between the two US Mansions, all original lines still exist, had WDW changed the Safety Bar spiel the original Paul Frees version would have been gone forever.
