Church's Chicken is the only restaurant where I live that gets consistently bad reviews online and cussed out on the regular BUT the line stays long. Every day. All day. 😂

Right now you do the talking about family life, education goals, do fun and funny stuff like outdoor stuff... the pool with his friends/family; favorite food, old board games, whatever. Keeping the communication lines open between you two & one day he’ll find something that’s important to HIM to talk about. Our 13yr old who was standing here said why did he have to crawl down the hall. I said because back then the kitchen was cleaned and closed for the rest of the night. There was no going in the kitchen in the middle of the night eating randomly.

Exactly! I remember when me and my brother were kids, our parents use to send us down South to stay a few weeks with our Grandmother for the summer. We were looking like crooks,🧐😧 just trying to sneak in the kitchen late at night on a scavenger hunt looking for something to eat! She wasn't broke but she never cooked enough and never bought very much.🤔 My brother finally asked my grandmother, "why don't you cook big meals like all the other grandmothers?"🤣 She was so done with him! 😂I was actually very proud of my brother for taking a stand! 🤣🤣 My dad made sure that he loaded up her refrigerator the next time we had to stay. 🤣🤗

That Church's 1 pc chicken and biscuit helped get me through college when money was short. Then one day I went to a party where there was a large platter of chicken. The chicken parts were huge. I asked and was told it was Church's. Where do they get their chickens from? Stopped going to Church's.🤔🤔🤨🤨😂

Sounds like what Panda Express did to me after I ate their Honey Golden Shrimp I was in the hospital on Sunday night, returned Monday morning, met my surgeon Wednesday and was operated on by Friday. Churches chicken and Panda shouldn’t be ingested by anyone unless they want gallstones.

I feel ya brother. I quite eating chicken when was 9 & my mom sent me next door to the nursing home, to help make dinner for them. Lady had me help her outside and when she stuck the chickens head in boiling water and rang it's neck and turned it loose . It chased me around the yard! I went straight back home.

Omg. This is so funny. I drove to Charlotte to a funeral this past weekend for my uncle. I saw the old Churches that I use to go to when I spent summers there as early teen. FYI I’m 51. I couldn’t pass it up. They don’t have one up North anymore. I waited 30 minutes for my order. So Churches always have issue. Omg. Had my daughter and husband wait with me. They was like this chicken better be good for this long wait. I had to get it and couldn’t wait to get my honey glazed biscuits. I enjoy it though. Brought good memories of my summer.
I used to go the churches chicken in woodlawn all the time. It was cheap but good! 2.49 got you a piece, a biscuit, and a drink. Couldn’t beat it.

Special bonus for me in this one when he mentioned King Vitamin cereal!? I remember it as a kid in the 70's. The box had a picture of a guy dressed like a king wearing a crown that had big gold spoons. That cereal was so sugary, it stayed crunchy in milk for a long time. I'll keep my eye out for more vids!
