Its so sad that Namibia 🇳🇦 still discriminate against gay parents. Imagine we still have the crime of sodomy in our common law in 2021, a law that was broughtby the British, German and dutch, and yet they say homosexuality is unafrican . It is so sad 😞. State sanctioned homophobia. Hopefully we learn alot from south Africa in terms of gay friends and right to family 👪. Wow thanks sis relebogile for this episode, they are both wonderful and proud parents. Wonderful stories ❤ 👏.
Using parts of the same Bible that was a reason they were enslaved and raped as part of the laws, Some African countries really suffer from Stolkholm Syndrom.
That's why I moved to S.A ,I could not handle being gay in Namibia even if i love and miss my country so much.My partner and i are raising a beautiful son now.

This was an incredible year in terms of LGBTQIA issues. The potgieter case was heard before the high court and the Phillip lehl case also also hear before the high court. Society is slowly changing in the right direction.

I hope you have an opportunity to interview surrogates and parents who gave up their children for adoption. It would be lovely to hear from the "other side" of the story.
