Super cool detail.
I trained my Edelgard in swords because I saw her use the Sword of Seiros in the trailers and thought it looked really cool. It's so disappointing that she can't use it at all. I also find some of the Sacred Relics weird, like, why does Lorenz get an axe when he's not proficient in it? And why does Mercedes get a bow when she's terrible in bow classes and there aren't even any magic bow classes?
Well Mercedes has a hidden talent with Bows in the game. I can attest to it that using Mercedes with Magic Bow is a great sub weapon if you are going low in Magic (Which almost never happens) but still a solid option for her nontheles
@@icyplayer1194 I know that she can be good using bows, my point was more so that the choice for some Sacred Relics feels weird canonically, seeing as Mercedes is canonically a bishop. (I think the Tathlum Bow's a magic bow, so maybe it's not too bad).

I didnt know a version of lorenz as a grapler could be any option but these all weapons and shield with chicol crest work without needinh a crest for them to work but healing addition only work with crest
Personally I find some of the sacred weapons abit out of place, especially when they are designed for a specific character to use. Like Riegan being a sword, but Claude as Barbarossa is proficient in an Axe instead. And Mercedes has to use a bow but there isn't really a bow/magic hybrid (already a weird mix).
These weapons are very handy in hard mode, especially when fighting major bosses. I remember doing the Golden Deer campaign and fighting Nemesis in the final battle. I used a combination the Seros Shield, The Inexhaustible, and the Sword of Begalta. Even with all those weapons, all of my units got badly damaged and would’ve been killed next turn if not for the weapon’s power bonuses.
The only TRUE legendary weapons are those of the regular goons who somehow absolutely destroy your high level, endgame equipment geared character and still manage to critically hurt another 2 or 3 units before getting annihilated by a regular swing.
I'm rather confused dose it gain better bonuses if the crest matches because I have the axe to Caspar and he when around murdering everything and let's not even start with what Ferdinand did with the lance. So many lives were taken by him
I'm extremely late, but I'll answer anyway. (Spoilers if you haven't played all routes) Most probably those weapons belong to the naboteans those crests proceed of since they were created before the heroes relics by goddess. The blessing they have probably comes from Sothis herself. Like there was a nabotean with the crest of Riegan and had that sword the same way the turtle of the lake is a nabotean with the crest of indech and had that bow of Indech crest, In fact the turtle is Indech. The elites were all hunted down by Seiros except for Maurice, the beast of Marianne's paralogue, their kids and the soldiers that surrendered were spared at least.
I’m sad you can’t get the sword of serios In verdant wind and azure moon edelgard has it in her inventory so i don’t get why you can’t just steal it from her or make it a dropabble weapon

@@zombielepra1726 yeah, and the relics hurt it's bearer if he doesn't have the correct crest. That is not really nice.
@@zombielepra1726 the hero relics are actually kind of unholy lol
Its weird i completed the paralogueThe Sleeping Sand Legend (with the wind caller) and still didnt obtain the sword of Begalta... what did i missed?
See your convoy
Failnaught, and a sword without a tip. Claude is basically Sir Tristan of the Knights of the Round Table.
Lorenz look's so weird as Grappler
Geez there’s so many of these that I missed out on even after so many playthroughs
3:45 *Seteth would like to know your location*
Ukonvasara?
Finland Perkele!
Wish we had more of these cool weapons
I literally just passed the part in the story to get the valley of torment weapon 🙃
Wish I would of known that Mercedes had her own bow before beating the game with her as a bow user... fuck
Should've used her budding talent
How to get Seteth's shield:
Save all villagers
MISSION FAILED
This is cool. So ot turns out a Tathlum is just another name for a sling, y'know the greatest feat of humankind weaponry using a scrap of leather to hurl a stone at someone at high speeds, but whats really cool as it appears instead of arrowheads the Tathlum bow has stones at the tip of the arrows.
I can attest to it that using Mercedes with Magic Bow is a great sub weapon if you are going low in Magic (Which almost never happens) but still a solid option for her nontheles
i ran mercedes as a bow knight once, in a run where i was utilising budding talents, and she wasn't too bad actually
One benefit of the Sacred Weapons is that anyone cal use them, so Mercedes' and Lorenz's inadequacies don't mean that much
@@maagic2031 Well, technically anyone can use Heroes Relics as well, but they take damage each turn and can't use the combat art.
@@icyplayer1194 I know that she can be good using bows, my point was more so that the choice for some Sacred Relics feels weird canonically, seeing as Mercedes is canonically a bishop. (I think the Tathlum Bow's a magic bow, so maybe it's not too bad).
I feel like there should be a secret ending once you obtain all of the Sacred Weapons, but I know its technically not possible since 1 is unobtainable and some are only obtainable in certain routes
Oooooh....magic bow sacred relic...thaaaat's why Mercedes is good with bows
That doesn't explain how Lorenz and Lysithea aren't good with axes though.
Some are acceptable while the rest and weirdly placed.
You forgot the effects :/
Well i will do it for everyone(Not incluyet heals and effetcive against flying bois):
Axe of Ukonvasara:Effective against armor knights
Sword of Begalta:None
The inxehaustible:Attacks 2 times
Sword of Moralta:None(Crits,crits,crits :v)
Talthum Bow:None
Sword of Seiros:Heals 50% of damage
Shield of Seiros:Monsters damage -50%
Caduceos staff:Magic range +1
Spear of Assal:Effective against horses bois
Ochain shield:No crits.
Thats all.Sorry for my bad english :(
I'm watching this video just in time. Today I'm playing the Ailell Ambush on BL. Time to get myself a new sword for Felix :3
How do you get the retribution paralogue to get Seteth's shield. Is it exclusive tp a certain route cause I've never gotten it.
Also, dang I've played Azure Moon 3 times and never even knew about the sword of moralta. Luckily I'm on my fourth playthrough now and I'm gonna make sure I nab it this time.
You need Lysithea and Ferdinand Von Aegir to get that paralogue.
@@chrisn.8322 Ohhh right. That paralogue. Thanks for telling me. I thought it was an extra one for Seteth, but then you mentioned Ferdinand and that's when it recollected that he also has the crest of cichol. Guess I never rescued the villagers then, cause I have no recollection of getting that shield.
And Mercedes has to use a bow but there isn't really a bow/magic hybrid (already a weird mix).
agreed . would be great if scared weapon can make more sense to the character stat...
I’ve never heard of sacred weapons and I’ve played this game a lot
You would have if you'd at least completed either Seteth/Flayn's or Leonie/Linhardt's paralogues
@@midnightdagger21 Oh oops, I killed them. I sort of just did Byleth solo runs and tried to speed run.
Midnight Dagger I swear those were Relics
Nope. Sacred weapons
Maybe I should open chests and kill everything now
Y como.lo descargo estara disponiple en la app store?
Carlos Garay JAJAJAJA no, está solo disponible por la nintendo Switch
I'm rather confused dose it gain better bonuses if the crest matches because I have the axe to Caspar and he when around murdering everything and let's not even start with what Ferdinand did with the lance. So many lives were taken by him
love bernie.
Lol I gave spear of assal to Leonie. She's a strong unit 😸
Why do have like 4 of the Ten Elites sacred weapons? Did some of their descendants join Seiros and co.?
I wished we could steal unequiped weapons from enemies, then we could steal seiros sword from edelguard on chapter 17 on verdent wind.
WTF SACRED WEAPONS. OMG I WANT THEM
3:45 LMAO
Why did they make the staves so dinky in this game...?
Once I do sliver snow I wanna make my seteth a Heavy caliver as well
What about the Zoltan weapons? I found the sword and axe but not the bow
I’m sad you can’t get the sword of serios
In verdant wind and azure moon edelgard has it in her inventory so i don’t get why you can’t just steal it from her or make it a dropabble weapon
She also has it in Silver Snow (that route's version of the reunion cutscene between Edelgard and Byleth turns into a swordfight between the Creator Sword and the Sword of Seiros, it's pretty damn rad).
my guess is they were gonna make the sword droppable, but they had already made the animation model of it for the reunion cutscene and didn't feel like making aymr. why else would it be in edelgard's inventory in gronder?
K I haven't played this in a while but from wut i remember The Inexhaustible is a weapon that can be used by anyone; wuts this about the Crest of Indech?
It is Indech's weapon and will heal the crest of Indech carriers by a higher percent(no crest, lowest heal-> Major Crest highest heal).
1:41 i dont understand how do i get that one
Hmm. Might give Hanneman the Inexhaustible my next playthrough. I haven't played him as a sniper yet.
i mean he is gonna have a hard time killing anything with 30% str 20%spd and starts at level 15 with 10 str and 9 spd.
Hanneman is just one of the worst units in that game so I don't know why one should want to train him besides of just-for fun strategies.
@@mysterium368 I mean he has a solid 20 magic at base and a 55% growth so he is not that bad actually especially considering his spell list which includes meteor for 10 ranged Gambit supports. I'd say he is a solid b tier.
How i can obtain the Tathulm Bow?
How do you get all those different paralogues?
Grappler Lorenz is blursed
Which chapter is the retribution paralogue? Im afraid i might have missed it 😥
It's Lysithea and Ferdinands paralogue
@@ebicbarton oh ok, thank you!
Be like me
Get all these weapons
Never use them because they look great unused
So no sacred weapon for crest of maquil?
Surprisingly no. That may at least partially be because no playable character actually has his Crest. It's still surprising that there is no sacred weapon for Macuil, since Macuil himself is the one who created the sacred weapons according to legend.
@@scraftyisthebest1309 I believe his sacred weapon is a staff called the Storm bringer: plus 2 range with Magic.
Tathlumbow should be a magic weapon
Fortress Knight Seteth. Pitfall.
Aren't the armored classes in this game trash anyways?
@@stopannoyingme601 Every class is viable to some extent, but the only good candidates for Armor Classes are Dedue & Gilbert. Everyone should just stick to a different class since they really don't need more defense than they already have. Dedue & Gilbert make for good armor units since they already have high defense, so being in an armor class gives them even more durability.
Haven't played Lunatic but Fortress Knight Dedue with Quick Riposte is pretty awesome
@@Ash_Wen-li Yesss. Dedue is by far the best candidate to become an Armor Knight. Just watch out for mages and you'll have a wall on your side. Sadly, maddening will laugh in your face, as it'll throw many enemies who can double Dedue, some with a chance to crit. But Dedue is still a very good wall.
Whats the ost used?
Why display Seteth with his shield but not Felix?
Or Flayn's staff, but not Thyrsus
Aegis Shield and Thrysus are relics, not sacred weapons
i did not come here expecting to see a lorenz with such thicc thighs
Ukonvasara is literally a Dude's hammer in Finnish
Sometimes , I'm pissed with the way to Unlock them
To talk to rodrigue ?! One chance ?
No way to get Ochain shield on Crimson Flower ?
And don't Even talk about Crusher !!! >:(
Sometimes should had to put somes specials weapons directly in the units inventory or ontainable after defeating some enemies ...
I gave byleth the ochain shield and it appears to be smaller than the one on the video. Does it expand if a unit with the crest of cichol wields it?
Back To Monday Maybe it has to do with the class
Back To Monday it actually depends on whether the unit equipping the shield is a heavy armour class or not. I think the devs figured that since they carry big shields by default then they could just resize any equipped shield to be big just for them. I think it’s a pretty cool detail.
@@JoseSanchez-cc4wn very interesting, thanks
@@JoseSanchez-cc4wn exactly. If you give the fraldarius shield to el for example when she's in her emperor class, it sizes up so much to match the size of her own shield

So how rare are they really?
just need to recruit the right characters(which isn't even that hard) and do their paralogue side quests. It's missable but brain dead easy, so not really "rare"
where is this song from
it’s the main battle theme... “fodlan winds”
jade i know its fodlan winds i just cant find this specific rendition of it
its apex of the world
makoto_ yuki thank you
jade tf are you taking about it’s apex of the world
Wow I missed that bad ass shield because the villagers are stupid and don't know how to move literally the last one and the enemy survived by a couple hit points and he kills him I didn't think it was a big deal 😭
These are fake. I combed through my azure moon playthrough and opened every chest and always defeated every enemy. This is wild.
They aren't all available in BL.
