Mark, you are one awesome fellow for what you do. I have a 1500 that I am unable to ride anymore due to old age. I want to thank you for what you continue to do for the Gold Wing community.
Hello from Michigan! Scott, I replaced all the relays in my gl1500 with your relays. Couldn’t be happier w your product. I can’t tell you how much confidence I have within my 35yr old bike now. Thank you so much for supplying a great product for the Wang community.
Thank you very much, I recently found a barn fresh gl1500 in good shape, yet she is 36 year's young. I'll be ordering more part's especially from your site. These bikes are pretty amazing when they run, yet are massive turds when they don't. Thank you for helping us to keep our Wings alive.
Thanks to you for doing this stuff for GW riders! Had to sell my beloved GL1800 last June due to a stroke late last year, had to make the decision to stop riding, not altogether(still have my turbo CBX), but for safety's sake as my reaction times are not quite with the program to safely ride my big bike long distances. Keep up the good work as long as you can! It's appreciated by me even though I'm not up on 2 wheels anymore.
Same thing with 1800 starter relays. Stock Honda is $65 and really light weight. I installed a riding lawnmower relay for $14. Much heavier and available.
The biggest problem is that I put myself out of business, because in the 13+ years I've been selling them, I haven't had a single person report that it has failed. I should maybe have made them with the same kind of failure rate that Honda's have. :)
You have been the most valuable and enjoyable cr3ator on yt. I watched videos I didn't need to just bc u make it fun to watch. I hope to catch ya out there 1 day. ❤
Just ordered one for my 83 Interstate project. My gauges work fine but I intend on keeping this sucker going. Plus I consider it my duty to support the pillar of the wing community. Salute!
I think you are doing Great! I'm still working on my 1984 Goldwing 1200I. I'm getting ready to look up if it will need one of your 7 volt Regulator ? I'm nit sure yet, especially after just watching your video. I hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thank you from Eastern Tennessee.
Really appreciate your efforts. Can't believe Honda made the OEM relay exclusive after you leveled out the market, highly disappointing behavior, but no doubt was the result of some supply chain management dude. These bikes go for so little you would think Honda would respect it and the legacy by supplying cheap parts but I suppose a 25-37 year old bike gets forgotten.
It's not uncommon strategy for a company. Back in the early 2000's I started a company that made software that worked with XM Satellite Radio receivers, and allowed you to do things with them that XM did not allow: record music directly. After my company's product got extremely popular, XM started getting a lot of heat from record companies, as their licensing of music was for broadcasting only, and not recording. They tried libeling us in press releases, they tried suing us, finally they discontinued that receiver entirely, to attempt to kill my company's product. It didn't work, as we just switched our software to work with another of their products (which was their core product, that they couldn't kill).
If you don't want to build any more, Would it be practical to sell the schematic for the regulator. On the other hand Radio Shack is gone. Maybe sell it as a kit so you don't have to build them. Just directions, schematic and parts.
Your spirit is what drives the start ups... Maybe you can enlist community or apprentice programs to train people to do the labor and learn a skill at the same time. Send your press release to Honda so they can scrap some Shxt off their face... thank you.
You clickbaited me into thinking you were quitting making UA-cam videos and possibly quitting riding Gold Wings based on your title. I’m downvoting your video!
Dude you are a rock star for what you're doing for us Goldwing owners. Thanks a million

His name is Scott not Mark.
@@anonimous2451 thank you for the correction
I appreciate what you do. Thanks for helping us keep these awesome bikes going.

I hope you're at least recovered that you can still do other things that are fun. And you have the memories!
This is why you still have over 28k in subs… respect 🇬🇧👍

Couple months ago I bought it from you and my bike is showing consistent readings!
The biggest problem is that I put myself out of business, because in the 13+ years I've been selling them, I haven't had a single person report that it has failed. I should maybe have made them with the same kind of failure rate that Honda's have. :)
You rock! I bought relays - haven’t used any. Bought a voltage regulator- never used it. Since you’re considering discontinuing I will order more.
You're a good man Scott, thanks for all you do !!

Thank you, and same to you and your family!
Your awesome!!
I have had mine so long that I had forgotten what they were originally for...😅
Great work!

@@GoldwingDocs that sounds like quite the story, what was this called? might make an interesting little documentary.
Your amazing I might get one even though my Goldwing is 84 aspencade with digital dash.
Bro i bearly found this channel like 3 weeks ago and need the regulator.
boy, dudes got great hair too!!
Wished I watched the whole video before I ordered 6 relays lol
Scott the 50 nz for spade fuse it's just strip of thin alloy
As an 1800 riser is there anything that I should be watching out for in this vain? Thanks for all the work you have done
I suppose a 97 Valkyrie has fewer relays looking at the wiring schematic?
