I have learned to paint without the tape! I feel that it's actually faster, plus if You have any accidents you can use a damp cloth, or Q-tip!

Thank you, however I think Frog tape works better, also I think keeping the roll of tape flat to the wall gives a more accurate and longer edge.

Argh. I used Scotch blue #2090 multi-purpose painters tape and had a horrible result. New trim was primed and painted a couple weeks ago. Sherwin Williams Duration was used. Taped and painted 1st coat around edges on day one. On day two, entire floor was painted 1st coat with 2nd coat along taped edges. Day 3, 2nd coat with additional coat on edges. 4th day removed tape. Tape took large patches of trim color coat with it. A job I thought was finished isn't. Will now need to feather the edges of all the many spots (on my arthritic knees) and repaint the trim. Arggh.

Time 4:19 “ok with the paint dry… now be careful the pain is still wet” which is it wet or dry???

Lol - I guess the best word to describe is "tacky" it's almost sticky in nature. Hope that helps!
