Interlocking Two Strand Twist Starter Locs

My client got her two strand twist starter locs installed Feb. 21st. She was supposed to get her first interlock retwist around the beginning of April but COVID-19 hit and put all hairstylists at a stand still. Finally she was able to get her interlocking appointment on June 4th. I hope you all enjoy!

I started my own (shaved my sides to my nape) I have 410 & do a 4pt rotation. Our texture is similar I just have higher density. It takes me 2days to complete. Gorgeous client & great turnout!!

Your not supposed to go through the same hole twice correct, it looks great but you're suppose to us a rotation to avoid holes in your locs. Also; be careful retying on wet hair, when the locs dry the hair shrinks up can can become too tight.

awesome job. so over time her entire head will be interlock? Meaning her 2 strand twist pattern will disappear and it will all look like interlock all the way down her hair shaft? That's for responding. or does that only apply to microlocs?

What point rotation interlocking did you use on her hair? Was it 2, 3 or 4 point rotation? Her hair came out beautiful. You do awesome work. God bless!

AFTER 4 YEARS OF RETWISTING, I DECIDED TO TRY THIS INTERLOCK TO CLEAN UP ALL THESE LOOSE HAIRS😮 WOW !! WOW. !! AND WOW!!! WHAT A DIFFERENCE❤ 6 MONTHS TO A YEAR I WILL TRY THIS REGIMEN AGAIN IF NEEDED. I DO PREFER MY RETWIST😊

Her hair, eyes and eyelashes are all so pretty. Their color all compliments her. My little cousin has hair and eyelashes that color, except he has golden frosted tips to his hair. It’s probably cus he’s a one year old tho lol.

It’s a maintenance technique for Locs like palm rolling (retwisting).
