Tim was standing in a boat in his BIL's back yard. He was dressed as Jack Sparrow, Austin was a pirate, Adam was the sailor from Little Mermaid, Rob was a East Coast sailor and Chance was a West Coast sailor.

Ah, Matey! Yours is the first reaction to the new video! I must say you have a very nice voice, Mike!! Your reaction was awesome! I know I’ve heard sea shanties from movies, but not well enough to know the lyrics. I love how the guys performed this medley! I have only watched it a couple of times in their Patreon page. It’s normally not my thing, but they did an amazing job! Adam and Tim definitely showed up with the bass and that beatboxing! I didn’t notice the castanets when I listened to it before, though. I didn’t have my headphones on, though. I heard it this time. Just an FYI, though. They do other stuff aside from funny songs. ☺️ Some really amazing songs.

Sea shanties were not necessarily for pirates. They were for all seamen to keep time with their work. I love how Tim's delicious bass is so easily noticed. I love sea shanties. If you are a fan of the Irish Rovers or the Kingston Trio, you will hear many sea shanties.

When we were little, we moving from Alaska to Kansas, thanks to my Dad's army orders. As far as Tim's deep bass sound....When they were on the Sing-Off, Shawn Stockman said that ' There's a difference when a normal guy who tries to be a bass, always misses the mark. And then there's Tim who's actually a natural bass". Meaning that when Tim is speaking normally, he has that deep bass tone. Of you find a live concert video where Tim is speaking to the audience, you'll see what I mean. Sometimes it hard to hear what he's saying, because it's that deep. As far as Adam....he still amazes me. I don't think there's anything that that man can't emulate, he's just that good.

Santianna is thought to reference the Mexican-American war and the clashes of Zachary Taylor and Antonio Santa Anna' armies plus the fact that British sailors were jumping ship to fight with Santa Anna's forces. It was new to me as well. Do you think the Costumes where an expression of not being able to film this with a sailing ship for a backdrop? They do love to have locations that add to the flavor of the music.

Many reactors note Adam's castenets, but you were one of the quickest on the draw. Otherwise, I am disappointed that only one reactor remarked on Rob's use of his lower range for "Cape Cod ships have got no sails" (if not exact, do I get credit for a paraphrase?), so Mr. Mike you are in good company. I think that Rob's use of his lower range is important. Why? Because I noticed it, that's why. If I hadn't, it wouldn't be important.
