Daniel Stabile It’s a speed cuber term. He means can you do a turn while one layer isn’t fully aligned with all the others and not have it lock up.

The truth is, I could have done this too since I never knew how to solve the cube ( until recently ), so I actually have opened up the cube a thousand times ( that's a hyperbole here ) and actually know what's inside it very well. ☺️☺️☺️

Honestly I love the design. Despite trying my best I think you should try updating the edge pieces because several of mine broke because there were only 2 of contact for the edge to the inner edge piece. Maybe make it flat like a triangle

I don't recommend it. It will be a lot more flimsy and I can't guarantee it will work (I think the pieces will be too loose).
