For 500 it should've included the Sarlacc set with the Nien Nunb minifig. Having said that, it looks good and I don't have any of the previous barges. So I'll be getting it down the line, just wait and bide my time for a good deal.
In short…..no. For the same price you can get the Rivendell set or Avengers Tower, both of which have over one thousand more pieces and at least 5 more minifigures. As usual SW fans get shortchanged by the SW tax. Should’ve at least included a second skiff to match the one in the sarlac pit set with a few extra figures to man it. Or just include the sarlac pic set. I mean it’s not like LEGO haven’t done that before, include a small set that’s sold separately in a larger set- just look at the batmobile and the Batman Shadow box set! Sure they tweaked the design of the batmobile slightly but it’s effectively the same batmobile in the expensive set as it is in the cheap set!
When I was a little kid I saw 6210 at toysrus. It was the first and only time I ever saw it in a store (thought for sure it was already retired and gone). Begged my mom and told her it was my only chance but she wouldn’t get it for me - not that I blame her - was a lot of $ for a toy for a lil kid without a special occasion. But now at age 26 I see the price of the new one and wanna cryy bro. 6209 was the other big childhood set that I just barely missed . Thankfully, I was able to get the UCS Slave 1. I remember seeing that at toys r us and wish I got it as a kid but couldn’t. The set in Canada is at least 700$ or 720$ and since I was so desperate to get it because I missed out on the other two I figured I’d sell a lot of my old LEGO sets that had instruction manuals that were still in good shape’ I may not be rich like some people but at least I was able to find a way to afford it without having to dig in to any money for rent or food’ so my advice to some people who don’t have that much money and can’t afford it is to try selling some of your own LEGO’ I earned up to 600$ dollars in one week’ if it’s possible for me it’s possible for you to’

No it shouldn’t especially because the set is meant to be only the sailbarge not the whole scene in my opinion it should be 50-100 less .
