I asked, "How you feeling?" His whole persona kind of changed. He was so grateful. We chatted a bit, shook hands & parted ways. He's a great guy. So happy he has WWE back on track.
Paul Levesque/ Tripple H was my boss at Golds Gym Nashua NH in 1993-94. I did a trade out membership. He was such a nice human being. He was always watching his street matches to study how he could make his wrestling better. I saw him after he turned into Tripple H and he was with Chyna at the gym. He still acknowledged me and said hey how are you doing? So humble. Great person.

It reminds me of the late '90s and '00s in that regard. It's wild how much more successful WWE has gotten with Triple H at the helm. They were always very financially successful because of TV rights deals, however Triple H has gotten them their mainstream cache back. I thought casual wrestling fans were long gone, however it seemed like they flocked back to WWE overnight. Look at their crowds and it's every walk of life.

I don’t think 20 years ago I would’ve said Triple H is the best person pushing the business forward, but man. What he’s done since taking over creative has brought a renaissance to the world of pro wrestling as a whole. Great to see him still around and involved. Also, Joe has got to be one of my favorite hosts for any interview show. Always asks great questions and seems genuinely interested in every answer he gets.
