- Nardwuar meets Thundercat at Neptoon Records, Vancouver, BC Canada ! Special thanks to Autry who by chance randomly spotted me on the street and told me that Thundercat wanted to meet me ! I thought I would only talk to Thundercat briefly and exchange information for a future interview, instead Autry brought Thundercat to Neptoon Records, for an encounter that lasted a whole lot longer ! Incredible ! Doot doo !

Nardwaur is a great interviewer even without being prepared with crazy questions about your past, at first i was like this interview isnt going anywhere but then it started to pick up.

Two super chilled out guy’s. First aware of Thunder Cat when he played for Mac Miller on tiny desk. Everything I’ve seen of him since I’ve loved. His laid back funk , R n B and whatever he calls his style. Also his mannerisms when he speaks are admirable. What a gentleman.
Dragonball Durag is the way I know him, thought he was a breakout artist lol. Didn't have any idea he was more than just groovy and hilarious

Nardwuar and Thundercat are two of the coolest people. I ran into Thundercat the first time I went to LA in 2019 the day before the first night of Camp Flog Gnaw. He had a Mac miller shirt on and I had a custom Mac Miller painted jean jacket on that I showed him. We talked for about 2 mins, took a pic then went on about our day. He is a very nice and cool guy. He was the first act I seen at Camp Flog Gnaw the very next day. One of my favorite people in music and as a human being.
