- Make A Quick and Easy Tinsel Tree Gnome. If you want to make a Christmas Tree Gnome, this is a super easy way to make one. This is also a great rustic gnome for Christmas. If you are looking for craft fair ideas, this is a good one. This diy gnome is a no sew gnome and can be made in under an hour. I luv your gnomes. Made a BUNCH last year for my daughter’s work Christmas tree at an urgent care clinic. Everyone loved them all the staff members took what they wanted home on Christmas Eve for their family’s tree. ❤❤❤. Have you ever considered making a different kind of nose for the female gnomes? The male gnomes are adorable, shouldn’t the female gnomes be just as cute? In my opinion the bead nose is reminiscent of a witch. I’ve wracked my brain trying to come up with a cuter alternative, but haven’t been successful. You have such a creative and logical mind. I know you can figure out what would work! I love your videos! I made my granddaughter your healthcare gnome for her graduation and new job as a nurse. She loves it! I also made myself a smaller version of the healthcare gnome as I’m nurse as well. At first I was only aware of your gnome making videos. I was so happy when I found your home decor and holiday DIY videos! The projects you make are so innovative not to mention beautiful! I’ll be making some of your Christmas DIY’s for the holidays this year! Thanks so much for sharing your awesome ideas with us! I look forward to your new videos! You can make it from any yarn. If you don't have thick yarn, you can braid some smaller to thicken it up. Thanks, Patti
