This is my favourite Rhythm game yet! (even though it's just a doujin). I rarely play any but one with music from my favourite game series is the perfect rhythm game for me! ^ワ^ And it sure was more fun than I expected it to be!
There is a big drawback in this game, comparing it to Rhythm Heaven Feaver. In RHF, music in most minigames HELPED you a lot, you actually could press buttons with closed eyes there, just listening to music and sounds (if you are good enough). In TRC, music never helps (even distracts if you try to listen to it) - you only keep the rhythm with your own eyes and brain. Since most of music are arranged touhou melodies, that were not suited for rhythm in the first place. I think that rhythm must be around sounds and music, not around eyes. In this game, the is no rhythm in music and sounds.

Unfortunately because of UA-cam's stupid decision to remove annotations, no one will get to see the joke at the very end where when Meiling gets stabbed to death, a box pops up saying "FCKIN AWESOME END!!!" (or something like that) that you're supposed to read to the beat. I really liked it, and now it's gone! Thanks UA-cam!

This video alongside Bad Apple and many music covers of different themes were my first introduction to Touhou Project, I originally didn't get why there were 4 Flandre or why Cirno was freezing frogs (rather than thinking that was practice, it was because of helping them to hibernate), but now I do get almost everything. The Quartz Minecart It really wouldn't be a surprise if most of the mini-games were based on some of the ones in Rhythm Heaven, due to the fact that Rhythm Heaven is pretty popular in Japan and is what most people think of when they hear the word "Rhythm Game". Nope, very popular game series, free to play I might add if your interested. It does have a sort of anime that was a project, but only 2 episodes have been made in... roughly... well, at least a year or two I'd say.
Download Daemon Tools, start it, select a virtual drive (or create it with the program if there insn't anyone) and then locate your .bin or .cue file with Daemon's browser. It will create a virtual install CD for the game.
