Sir u have made a sleepy subject more interesting. Although I have attended this lesson very recently practical explanation makes it more understandable. Your efforts are really great🙏
The length of pole shadow is not constant constant with time as it passes. When we are measuring shadow of tree or pole it should be done immediately without giving gap of time so that the shadow of both the lengths do not vary with passage of time as sun keeps on rotating. And this is applied on early hours of morning or late in evening when tree casts long shadows. Remember this is a type of application of similar triangles (both by tree and pole shadow angle) which helps to determine length indirectly (as shown detail calculation in the video). Hence, the sides of SIMILAR triangles are proportional.
Instrumental (clinometer, Haga, etc) method for height measurement gives better results, but there are lots of instances where the Foresters can also measure tree height by non-instrumental method by shadow , pole, ocular etc without using instruments and get relative/approximate height. So foresters should be aware with all the ways of measurements.
Sir your teaching style is best ...Now the twin of Dr Singh is more interesting 😃😃😃😂😂
Thank you so much 😀 Abhinash
Welcome Guruji

Sir a doubt do the shadow of length of pole change with change in height of tree or is the length of pole shadow constant please reply sir

@@dr.bikramsingh2661 sir when i measure 2 different trees of different length at same time will the shadow of the pole be different
It will approximately same shadow of pole if there is no time lapse.
@@dr.bikramsingh2661 Thank you sir
I love it way you make it fun❤
Thanks
Well done sir 👍
Sir ,can u say what is the principle used in shadow method?
Yes, principle of similar triangles, because we can determine lengths indirectly, remember that the sides of similar triangles are proportional.
@@dr.bikramsingh2661 Thanks for answering my question sir

Super sir👏👏👏
thnx
Sir why we do use pole??
