Hi Marta, congratulations for the video, very good information for sure. I just got a second class medical for cabin crew here in Brazil and I would like to ask you if you know if I could use it in any way in the hiring process. Thank you for your time ❤
@@Tiny.travelshi am Sudu from India. Just applied video assessment two days back but I messed up. People told me they will same question but eventually when I was ready to give assessment they asked different questions and I’ve sent them already so my hope is really really less to be get selected. Because I’ve tried emirates is failed in first round itself.
Thank you for the valuable information. I would like to ask: you mentioned that you were underweight when examined by the doctor; what was their opinion? I have the same problem and it worries me. Another question, weren't your teeth examined by the dentist?
hi, no one looked at my teeth :) and there were no suggestions forwarded to me regarding my weight(I know some airlines put you on some kind of a gain/loss weight plan but it was not the case for me)
do you know if there is a validity for the covid vax? i had 2 doses but that was back in 2021 and i havent had any extra dose. or do i just need to prove that i have been vaxed and thats it?
Hi, I joined with 2 doses as well and got the booster after. During your medical examination, your vaccination record including covid vacc. will be checked and if you require additional vaccinations you will be informed exactly what you still need to do. If you have time, I would probably get it before my joining date just to save myself from after effects of being vaccinated during training 😊
Hi Marta, you mentioned breast implant is okay, my Question Should breast implant be declared during Final Interview ? Also, does the Company publish a rule & spread it through Internal Note that allowing breast implant ? Thanks
Hi, can I ask if they use a slit lamp to check the eyes during the medical checkup? Do they check anything else apart from vision and color blindness? Thank you!
Hello Marti, can you teach us about makeup? please just make a video of how to wear simple makeup as a cabin crew. because it really helps me for my upcoming interview time I mean I don't know how to do simple makeup.
Hi, sure, will try to make one soon. In the meantime you can check out the video I posted a while ago where I get ready for a flight and do my make up there :) Hopefully, you will find it helpful :) Good luck at your interview!
Hello! Is it really class 2 you’re required to have? I thought it’s the Cabin crew medical license you need to get to be a CC and the requirements for this are a bit lower. Class 2 is usually for pilots of small aircrafts I believe. Do you have any information on this please?
In Brazil we have two second class, one for private pilot and one for cabin crew. The cabin crew one has less tests ( no hearing test, no dental check etc).
Hello! How are you ? ❤ Hope everything is great! About the colorblind, did they check it by test? Like showed you different pics with numbers ? Thanks a lot 🥰
Hi there, tattoos are not a problem if there are not visible while wearing uniform. So if it's in the area that will be covered in the uniform you can have them :D Hope that helps ❤
Do they use ophthalmology machine (eye checking machine) for eye examination or do they just use manual checking by showing us some alphabets or color pattern. I hope u would answer me ❤
Do you mean that lenses aren't acceptable at all at work?? Or just during the examination test so that I only have to put on glasses? because I feel more comfortable with my lenses so I need to know which one is better
You can wear lenses at work 🥰 you will just need to remove them for the eye test but during flights it’s up to you if you prefer to wear lenses that’s perfectly fine ☺️
Hii, thanks for this helpful information. I wanted to ask, do you have any idea if having anemia it’s a problem and you cannot work for Etihad if you have it?
It’s really hard to say without knowing how exactly your scar looks however if it’s a small and hardly visible scar I would personally declare it and I wouldn’t try to hide it.
During the flight you can wear contact lenses but you need to carry spare pair of glasses with you to work. For your medical, you will be asked not to wear contact lenses :)
Hi, they do check for color vision and if you do fail that test it may stand on your way to become a cabin crew. Many of the indications in the cabin are sound and color related(different chimes and colors determining what is happening). You’ll be also asked before your medical exam(medical history form) if you do have color blindness.
Hello! Did you find out about type 1 diabetes? I also have T1D and would love to work for Etihad. According to GCAA regulations, it should be possible to obtain a CC medical license, however I don’t know if Etihad has any additional requirements:/
Hi there, it depends on the company you are applying for. Some airlines do not allow braces and some have a specific restrictions regarding what kind of braces are acceptable(usually the ones that aren’t too visible) In others you may need an approval from style and image department to wear them as well. If I were you, I would apply and come to the interview. The recruiters during event would definitely advise you on the regulations at this specific airline ✈️ best of luck 🍀
Hi there, I wish I could give you a clear answer, but I believe you would have to discuss it with the recruiters at the assessment or at the medical center during your evaluation.
I have thyroid issues but it's not that serious...tsh level 6.5 .. Also i have normocytic normochromic in my rcb ..but doctor said it's not an issue..Will I be rejected for these issues?
I wish I could help you out here with a clear answer, however that's the answer you can only get from the medical center(aeromedical center) after applying for the job. If I were you and flying was a big dream of mine, I would still apply and disclose my medical history during my recruitment and medical evaluation. After all, it's only worth it if you don't risk your own health.
If you wear glasses, you can take them with you for the exam, you will be asked not to wear contact lenses for the exam, but if you do prefer lenses you can wear them later on at work as well :)
Hi there, it all depends on the visibility and the size of your scar. If it's not showing too much I would still give it a go with declaring it during your assessment day.

Hi! Nice video!
Do you also need a gynecological test ?
Hi, do you know if they allow/hire applicants with scoliosis and if yes, up to what certain degree? Thank you and have a safe flight always!
Hi 👋 you may be accepted with scoliosis but I’m not sure till what degree it’s acceptable now and how severe your case is too.
I heard that they accept to 30 degrees

Any idea about tattoos and if they matter in the medical exam? Or is it a professional medical exam where health is prioritized over everything

Thank you for your video! Do they check height and weight during medical already in UAE? Or they check it before?
My weight was only checked during medical, the height is also checked during interview :)
Do they use ophthalmology machine (eye checking machine) for eye examination or do they just use manual checking by showing us some alphabets or color pattern. I hope u would answer me ❤
hi, can u tell about height check more elaborately, do they check it backwards or forwards ?
Can you kindly address the issue of history of depression
Don’t mention it
Never ever declare anything. Make sure any medication you took is out of your system.
Do they consider people with lazy eye (having blurred vision in one of the eyes)
Hello, i will ask if the day of the medical can i wear eyeglasses? Because my vision is not 20/20? And they allowed if you have a denture teeth?

Does the examining doctor listen to your heart and breath sounds with a stethoscope?
Hi do they do physical check on our body? Or is it blood test and xray only? Will they check the abdomen for example?
I will be rejected if I had breast cáncer 5 years ago? I'm totally ok now
Hi, I'm glad youre ok now 🥰 I would love to help but this is something you would have to discuss with the medical center or your recruiters.
Hi! Is there an acceptable degree of curvature for scoliosis?
Is colourblindness a deal breaker? Even if only mild?
i am asking for this as well. kindly provide us an answer, thank you!
Do you have update?
Do they ask you to remove socks during medicals?
I have a little scar on my hand but it’s not very visible, do you think I should cover it up with concealer on my interview day ?

hello! thank you for the information. i only would like to ask, do they still require dental xrays and dental certificate? thank you
Hi, it may depend on the airline but in my case it was not required 😊
If you have sinus allergies, will they allow you or not
It all depends on the severity of your condition, however please think about your own health first as flying may affect it as well.
Hey can we not wear wear contact lenses during the job? Only glasses are allowed?
During the flight you can wear contact lenses but you need to carry spare pair of glasses with you to work. For your medical, you will be asked not to wear contact lenses :)
