Always love to see & hear other Caribbean nationals making it out here in these big companies!! How did you go about applying for Etihad? Did they recruit you in your home country or did you fly elsewhere? Much love from Trinidad! ♥️🇹🇹
Yes indeed! The caribbean flavor is necessary too😁 … At the time of my interview we were given a few places to select from for the open day and I went to Abu Dhabi for that.
Mc Neil I'm just concerned about hair length I'm a guy & I love semi long hair, over there I've seen men keep short hair, kindly tell me can't I do anything in this regard, instead of cutting can't I use hair products like wax/gel,so that I would keep them & won't need to cut them so they would look subtle & smart while I'm working, looking forward to your answer!
There are grooming standards that must be adhered to for the purpose of maintaining that uniform look…. I’d say go for the interview first and when you’re offered the job you’ll do what’s necessary to maintain like keeping within the range etc … maybe their hair lengths have been revised, I don’t know as I’ve already moved on from flying and keep in mind those grooming standards vary from airline to airline too.
It’s time to APPLY! No wishing, just ACTION!! Check me on insta and see all my fun and inspiring reels too! Don’t sit in the corner and “assume” just go! I joined etihad at 33!!!!!
Have a look at the career pages of different airlines, see what interests you etc and start sending out applications. Don’t be shy to do follow up calls within two weeks of sending your application if you don’t hear back from them, it’ll show that you’re interested. All the best to your flying career!!
Each airline has its own structure for leave etc…. From what I recall at EY It’s broken down into blocks up to two weeks or slots of five or 6 days which add up to the total 30, however not the entire 30 at once. There were also options at various times of unpaid leave which folk would take … I’d recommend looking up forums or blogs on the subject where I am sure individuals share a whole lot more. This video was for the sole purpose of sharing snippets of my flying days. 😊😊
I am an simple graduate and my height is 5.6",weight is 84kg, age is 36. I have no aviation degree and experience. Can i be a perfect ethihad cabin crew?
Hi, would you be able to share any information on Etihad tattoo policy? I have a tattoo on my upper arm but i am not sure if it's an automatic disqualification. Thanks:)
Your tattoos are your personal business as long as they’re not visible you’re fine. I know quite a bit of people with tattoos from my days at the airline(even I’ve got my own) but I’d do first things first(apply, go for an interview and ask questions) … good luck, the job is rewarding based on what you’re looking to extract from the overall experience.
@@McNeilGriffith1 Do i still have to declare it? I know part of the uniform for men is the white t-shirt under the shirt. Would you be able to say how short/long that t-shirt is? Whether it reaches tonthe Elbow or a bit shorter on the upper arm? Thanks:)
@@ricm2703 the shirts are long sleeve for men and I can’t remember if the tattoos had to be declared.(I got recruited a while back and have already left) .. @@McNeilGriffith1 i did some research but from what i am getting , there seems to be certain limitations with the non-visible policy.
