- Dangerously low temperatures are maintaining an icy grip on the United States, with 95 million still under wind chill alerts. The frigid winter blast is also wreaking havoc on air travel, with more than 2,400 flights canceled on Tuesday. NBC’s Maggie Vespa reports and TODAY’s Al Roker tracks the latest forecast.

I take care of 5 street cats. They got heated houses but it’s 7 degrees. They’re very thankful on this day. Most of em are 3 years old so this is their first cold like this. They can’t stay in their house all day so they keep doing 10 minutes out 1 hour in.

That’s any battery I got a brand new battery in my Honda and it barely would crank this morning cause it was below zero and almost froze up. It cranked slow but finally fired warmed up. Normally it runs like a sowing machine fires right up!
I guess nobody in northern Europe or Canada can own EVs then even though they sell really well. Cold doesn't disable EVs. Inability to plan and stupidity disables EVs.
