My wife walked to this at our wedding 3 years ago. Will never forget it! I only wish I could have had Buckethead there in a tux with his mask and bucket on while playing it live. Thanks Buckethead for being such an important figure in my life.
This is easily the most incredible song I've have ever heard. and the fact that this guy can rock so damn hard, then turn around and make you shed a tear with emotion like this. it just blows me away
This song is so touching and beautiful. It makes me reflect on all the things I love about life. Heck, I'd love for this to be played at my funeral to let everyone know how I feel that they were in my life.
This is my favorite album ever and will be forever. Buckethead is on a different level than the other fish in the pond. He's on a spiritual level. This album can be played from newborns to grandmothers. Its one of the most important albums of our lives today.
When i listen to this song I just close my eyes and pretend that we are in a world without gods, wars, hate, starving and all the misery that is in our world. A beutiful masterpiece and it touches me everytime I listen to it.
Nice one getting this video back, its been in my favourites for a while and usually my playlist automatically passed it by due to 'video not available'. Nice surprise to see it back :)
I don't think it really matters "who the best guitarist is" at all. Why can't we simply enjoy the unique art that each guitarist brings to offer and find respect for each of the masters.
It's funny, I always saw Buckethead as a weird guy so i never listened to him. Man was I missing out. So glad I decided to give Buckethead a chance, truly amazing.
somebody please let me know that they think the same about bucket as me. his songs have no way of describing them. especially soothsayer. it has so much emotion in it, but not one specific emotion; it either thakes the form of the emotion you feel at the time and amplifies it, or forms a completely new emotion and forces it upon you. seriously the best musician ever, but not the kind that you want to prove to others, just appreciate in ur own way.
I'm crying Electric Tears, I have never had a song pull so much emotion from me, could be the most beautiful song I've ever heard, and lets me know there's something on the other side.
great movie, never thought id see it played to buckethead music. this is by far my favorite track off electric tears, its like a mix between shadows between the sky warm acoustic tone and colma's emotional and powerful melodies. thanks for uploading
Beautiful song, the entire cd is one of the most beautiful musical creations ever recorded by anyone. Cool job on the video, & very interesting story how it came together, I like!
i agree.... I had to find buckethead on my own by surfin the net for countless hours. It's also beneficial to the artist, 'cause then the media doesn't destroy his life and all of his fans are completely genuine
boxheadstudios...I couldn't agree more with you...people who say Buckethead is an emotionless robot make me soooo angry. They obviously haven't listend to his music...but what makes me more angry is when people steriotype him because he likes to goof around. They call "emo" or "freak" becasue he wears a mask and a bucket when all he ever does is joke around. He is obviously a very happy person. And his music makes me happy. I always listen to the bucket when I'm down.
This is one of my fav buckethead songs. I cant really say one of them is my #1 but it would be a 50/50 between Soothsayer and Watching the boats with my dad
freaking genious what destiny may provey even if talking about technology and all the acurated issues we are suposssed to handle right.. Nice vid. i just love BKTH
@HogJuice66 Reading this post gave me shivers. As I feel the same way about Buckethead. I've studied him for years now, and still cannot get enough. Cheers to you for sharing. -Curtis
Frankly, I rather have buckethead be underground and not known to ppl, cuz once he goes mainstream (which he will never do) his songs are going to be affected by record labels and such to tell him to make his beautiful music more commercial. I dont want to see this legend go to waste becuase of this.
Buckethead can never die. He is an idea and ideas are timeless. Angus young in the 80's was young. I look at him now and hes not so young in fact hes 50. He will die some day but BH will always be the man in the mask. he could be 90 and still look like hes 20, hes an image not a man. He's an idea, and ideas are immortal, they weather the wars and out last entire civilizations. Buckethead in body will pass but his legacy is infinite, his music will always live on forever in his fans! -Cateran
I wish we could send Bucket back in time, to meet some of the most famous composers ever. Mozart, Beehtoven, etc. They would sit and listen to this beautiful mental/emotional tapestry layed before them by the most brilliant and innovative musician of all god damn time. They would have killed to be able to create this kind of sound, Not to discredit them, of course. But damn, In a hundred years, I hope that they have posters with the best composers. And on that board should be Buckethead.
@Penpy I must say , Penpy...that is EXACTLY how I feel about it. There are way too many good players from so many styles..for e.g Flamenco, Classical, Jazz etc. I do luv BH versatility and melodies. Simply beautiful.
@YngwieAteMe No need to get all serious my friend. It's just a way we Bucket fans like to show respect and love for him - explaining how we perceive him to be a beauty beyond all others; a rare gem in this universe of cold, blackened stone.
Im 14Years Just A Child And Buckethead Is The Best And I Looked For The Movie On Google I Found It, I Watched 2Hours And 10Mins I Wish Theres A Other Child Wasting Time On This "Art" Than Others Just Wasting On A Good Time This Is The Best Time I Ever Wasted On My Life I Just Cried On This Song And This Movie I Love Sharik *The Dog*
its truly sad to think that people just view buckethead as some guy who is good at going fast.. but this man has a true soul and i put him next to andy mckee and other acoustic legends.
My wife walked to this at our wedding 3 years ago. Will never forget it! I only wish I could have had Buckethead there in a tux with his mask and bucket on while playing it live. Thanks Buckethead for being such an important figure in my life.
Justin Buell must be nice! Great choice!
Cool choice.
I don't know you ..but I hope you guys are doing great during this pandemic..god bless you
Bucket is amazing, and you are too for choosing to play this song at your wedding !! ❤️👍
Happyness for you and your love
Buckethead is not music. He's a gift from the music gods.
Only one musician can make you feel happy and sad at the same time, and that's Buckethead.
This is easily the most incredible song I've have ever heard. and the fact that this guy can rock so damn hard, then turn around and make you shed a tear with emotion like this. it just blows me away

This guy with a KFC bucket for a hat gets more emotion out of a box with strings on it than any amount of vocals ever could.
Legend.
The first time I had an encounter with God this song was playing in the background. God loves Buckethead too. God bless this world.
This guy deserves a place in Heaven. PERIOD.
amazing music, Buckethead truly proves his superiority over damn near all other guitarists with this piece of art!
Everyone always praises his shredding and stuff, but I think he's at his best when he plays something like this.
God has a front row seat to watch his number 1 musical creation.
Love this piece , Thank you so much , I just lost my little jack russell and i am using this for his memorial slide show...
When i listen to this song I just close my eyes and pretend that we are in a world without gods, wars, hate, starving and all the misery that is in our world. A beutiful masterpiece and it touches me everytime I listen to it.
I can never thank Brian Carroll enough, the man saved my life
The power was all yours all along
this song just taught me in 58 seconds why ive loved music for the whole 25 years of my life.
I know this is 11 years old but I still want to say, that this is exactly how I feel. Buckethead reminded me why I love music
Nice one getting this video back, its been in my favourites for a while and usually my playlist automatically passed it by due to 'video not available'. Nice surprise to see it back :)
still listening like 10 years ago ................
No words needed. Buckethead, your music speaks louder than most people's words. Brian Carroll aka Buckethead is my hero.
If i hear this song when i'm sad, i suddently feel much better. It's fantastic.
I don't think it really matters "who the best guitarist is" at all. Why can't we simply enjoy the unique art that each guitarist brings to offer and find respect for each of the masters.

Crazy diverse discography, what a legend.

i think his best work is when he plays like Spanish type music, its just so peaceful and soothing.
sounds like he has definitely visited Spain at some point?
@HogJuice66 Reading this post gave me shivers. As I feel the same way about Buckethead. I've studied him for years now, and still cannot get enough. Cheers to you for sharing. -Curtis

IMO as a geetar player and composer, this is....well just fantastic.

Buckethead IS music. Awesome video. Great music. No cover or any other guitarist can compare with Buckethead.
I wish we could send Bucket back in time, to meet some of the most famous composers ever. Nice, I hope to see him sometime. It's too bad (for me) he dosen't come to Missouri often.
@Penpy I must say , Penpy...that is EXACTLY how I feel about it. There are way too many good players from so many styles..for e.g Flamenco, Classical, Jazz etc. I do luv BH versatility and melodies. Simply beautiful.

Wow this is truly a new side of buckethead...
@YngwieAteMe
No need to get all serious my friend. It's just a way we Bucket fans like to show respect and love for him - explaining how we perceive him to be a beauty beyond all others; a rare gem in this universe of cold, blackened stone.
I think I can appreciate his slower stuff more than his faster stuff.

where has this song been all my life?
@andy92811
I think the rythm guitar is played with an electric guitar and the lead with an accoustic.
Beautiful :)
Easy to play, but amazingly hard to transmit all the emotion which make that song a masterpiece...
It's just beautifull
This is the best fucking sound that I've ever heard.
This song really is great
Dude you need nottingham lace, that solo is sick.
You also didnt mention Sail on Soothsayer haha
If you think hard enough of a past memory.....you will cry....
@NorrisPimp The movie is titled "Heart of A Dog" in the description.
