Exintegrante de The Quarrymen (1957-1959), The Beatles (1960-1970) y Wings (1971-1981).
No idea why Paul is so reluctant about playing this song in live performances more often. I know John has written 80% of it, but Paul made an important contribution.
Don’t tell me you’re one of those “Paul sang the Aahs” people
@@Henry3Studios Nah... Actually, yeah, I think it was him, John was there too but he was making background noises.
But Paul wrote the middle section, everyone knows that. So yes, it's his song too.... Well... 20% of it.
maybe because it's a tad bit difficult
The orchestra section was his idea too. That elevated the song to a different level.
He said it in a interview this is a deeply personal song to him (a day in the life) as him and John spent a lot of time in the studio writing it more then most of the Lennon-McCartney songs

The sound of applause makes it like the original song.
I don't know how else to describe John's voice other than "cosmic." It had some other worldly factor to it.
Most music critics would argue Paul was, fundamentally, the better singer. But John had such uniqueness to his voice that made him stand out.
John said he didn't like the sound of his voice or the way any of the Beatles songs were recorded.....
@@jasonmarques1480 John said a lot. A lot of negativ things on his or the work of others as well. Dont take it to serious.
@@paulkaufmann6546 yeah but John said ...
and don't just his voice but his own existence was something cosmic

No one can do this kind of music nowadays only The Beatles can do such a masterpiece song.
Bit true, sadly
The most melancholic Beatles’ song. Beautiful!
Ofcourse it is as it. Song is about real Paul Mcartney who died in car accident in 1966, period. Just in the beginning Lennon is singing about Paul. Listen carefully.
i think it's let it be
@@LoveArt86that probably never happened. For what we know, the Beatles probably put the hints out as a joke.
@@mattgames1It was about someone else who died in a car crash tho
Paul is the greatest....and of course John
Magical. Oh, sweet Heavens thanks for the Beatles.
This is so splendid, and a requiem for John🙂
Paul is singing !John's part😭
who else would you rather sing it
@@ketchupketchup9502 John lemon
@@Alex-ht4be it's actually faul singing not paul bc Paul is dead
@@ketchupketchup9502 xd
@@ketchupketchup9502 it's actually John singing. The faul theory is a myth. Paul did die in a car crash but he was replaced by John Lennon. That guy you think is John doesn't look nearly the same after 1968, and I know it's not a coincidence. When Paul died, John took his place, and they hired Fohn to take John's place.
I love his drummer
Amazing tribute to John!
PAUL YOU'RE STILL MY NUMBER ONE I LITERALLY ADORE YOU
This song needs John,Ringo,George
My bad I’ll call them up real quick 😅

The Greatest Musical Phenomenon of tge 21st Century and beyond. A Day In The Life/Give Peace A Chance and All Beatles Songs was an Immortal Hits.
I ❤❤❤❤❤ this song.
HERMOSA.. ADMIRO A MCCARTNEY PERO ES DE LENNON ESTA ROLA.
I'm missing Mal's alarm clock sound effect, however, this sure was a great tribute to Paul's band mate!
A Day In The Life.
No seas tan mccartnista cegado, buena parte?

Best song for me

I saw the photograph
This song was written about Paul's supposed death in late 1960s. Yet, here we are in the 2010s and later watching Paul singing a Beatles song about his rumored death. this is payback for the rumor in the 2960s
This dudes a time traveler

I read the news today, oh boy
About a lucky man who made the grade
And though the news was rather sad
Well, I just had to laugh
I saw the photograph
He blew his mind out in a car;
He didn't notice that the lights had changed
A crowd of people stood and stared
They'd seen his face before
Nobody was really sure if he was from the House of Lords
I saw a film today, oh boy;
The English army had just won the war
A crowd of people turned away
But I just had to look
Having read the book
I'd love to turn you on
Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up, I noticed I was late
Found my coat and grabbed my hat
Made the bus in seconds flat
Found my way upstairs and had a smoke
And somebody spoke and I went into a dream
Ah I read the news today, oh boy
Four thousand holes in Blackburn, Lancashire
And though the holes were rather small
They had to count them all
Now they know how many holes it takes to fill the Albert Hall
I'd love to turn you on
greatest

Wow
Imagine having rringo in the drums, epic
Not the same without John and George especially John iconic voice beautiful 🙏🏽
You know, I kinda like Paul’s voice on this song. I wish I could have heard John song it live. But both do excellent on this song. My only question is why they had to interrupt it with that cringy “give peace a chance” part
i think it’s probably to like commemorate john lennon who got shot to death. just a guess tho irdk
Just John being John
"woke up fell out of bed ... "
Compare the bass played in this live performance (from 2:57 in this video) to this live performance of the same song (from 2:50) in this video: ua-cam.com/video/sCbZ15JpxPg/v-deo.html. Which one is better?
They are both great.
Panic at the Discos "Northern Downpour " reminds me of this song.
This song reminds me of "Northern Downpour" by Panic at the Disco. Pretty sure the Beatles plagiarized that song via time travel technology that utilizes a lot of LSD.
I once traveled to the year 10,000 CE by taking a heroic dose of LSD.
What did he smoke that made him go into a dream? I bet I know . . .
Meth. He hadn't slept in days due to meth use, and he frequently slipped into dreams (otherwise known as "hallucinations") because his brain needed sleep.
Eventually he died from lack of sleep and was replaced by Faul McFartney. True story.
why the excessive autotune?? he does not sound like that!!!
Havu Raivio I’m pretty sure he doesn’t have it, but I could be wrong.
@@shant1530 he does, i saw this live too :/
@@shant1530 like on youtube i mean
@Skela Boy Yeaah but I still respect him so much. I saw this live on youtube and it was fixed after posting this again after the performance.
@Costa Zambaras not a normal autotune software, if you're way off its not going to correct you to the note you want. Melodyne on the other hand can do that. It can't be used in a live performance as it's used after the performance has been recorded, it works as an editor, drag the note that was sung to the note you want it to. Hope that makes sense.
11:00 the meme!!!
Not a song but the song

Ooops, "made the bus in seconds flat" 😆
fast forward and turns out paul helped co-write Give Peace a Chance and hed forgotten! Get Back doc showed it

faul is dead
so Paul died, was replaced, and later the double died and was replaced yet again?
If McCartney died in 1965 or whatever you people say, it means that Faul is the better singer, musician and writer. He is the one, not Paul, who wrote everything from Eleanor Rigby to Let it Be.
You people should try thinking sometimes.
@@skipandslide who cares if it's 65 or 66? So "Paul" wrote "Yesterday" and "Faul" wrote "Eleanor Rigby".
The whole idea is ludicrous.
Your wrong as can be both John and Paul said it was made up DUE TO LENNON MESSING WITH THEM FREAKS ... HIS WORDS IN INTERVIEWS
