What a brilliant idea for a tag, Aaron! And how cool to see you hold up True Grit; I just read it today and enjoyed it tremendously. Elizabeth Jane Howard is on my list…possibly for a vacation read?
I think you will love her. She does deal with some heavy themes sometimes, but is not particularly difficult to read so I think would be fine for a holiday read.
It's because I buy from ebay a lot and the covers aren't always accurate which is annoying. I do really like the Coen Brothers film though so I'm not too mad.
I usually don't have a huge TBR, but Shakespeare's collected works is one that I've started this year, but had to put aside for a while. I've read parts of it yearss ago but yeah, I don''t know... I have enjoyed before but...
Reading all of Shakespeare in a row would fry my brain. I have a collected one too and try to read 2 or 3 every September, so one day I will finish it too!
I love that my channel is the name of a prompt! I have serious book envy of your beautiful copy of Master and Commander! So beautiful. You should tag some more people, friend! 💛
LOL, I'm in the same place with the Odyssey! I listened to the audio of the Fagles Iliad translation ages ago and loved it, but somehow never got through the Odyssey. I've actually just gotten the Emily Wilson translation out of the library and am planning to get to it this month. 🤞
@@AaronReadABook I didn't get that far in to the Fagles Odyssey audio, but it's narrated by Ian McKellan, so that's a plus right there. I'm planning on reading the text of the Wilson; her translation is narrated by Clare Danes, which while I've heard good things about, somehow doesn't excite me as much.
Actually, I prefer The Odyssey to The Iliad. (I've read the Alexander Pope version, of all things.) And when I finally get my own channel, I promise you I will be featuring Elizabeth Jane Howard😊
@@YourTrueShelf Its one of those books I don't really recommend much because I don't remember it very well and I might just have been in the mood for it at the time, but I remember loving it.
How amazingly awesome this tag is!!!! We are so happy to be a prompt! This will be fun to see go through BookTube. We’ll film this soon 💕

Great tag! And I highly approve of the book against my name, one of my favourites
It was you who put me onto the Donna Tartt audiobook for my second read of it so I probably had that in my mind still 😁
You have such original ideas Aaron - looking forward to watching this 💜📚
Thank you so much Aaron!!! What a great surprise to be included. Excellent tag. 😊🥰
Thanks! I'm just now realising the question could have been about Middlemarch, but also I hate it when people criticise Middlemarch 😂
So funny you have all the movie covers, I can't believe they even put the Coen bros names on there and so big for True Grit.
It's because I buy from ebay a lot and the covers aren't always accurate which is annoying. I do really like the Coen Brothers film though so I'm not too mad.
Clever book tag! I share your love of True Grit.
Everyone who reads it seems to love it !
Solaris sounds weird AF - I'm adding it to my tbr list 😅😅. Thanks for the rec!
it's very odd, the original film is well worth a watch too.
I’m honored to have my channel included in this. Thanks so much!
Your one is definitely getting some interesting answers!
This sounds like fun. Thanks for the tag and mention

This is a fabulous idea for a tag and features many of my favourite booktubers. Love your choices. What an amazing tag 😊
Thanks Deb!
What a fun and unique tag! Master of Commander sounds really fun and is such a beautiful book. Great answers and love the hat! 😊
It's a second-hand folio edition, they are always lovely copies but so expensive.
@@AaronReadABook I hear you, I have a weakness for beautiful editions of books 🤩

It's the folio edition! I'm buying one a year secondhand so I don't bankrupt myself.

So close to 700 subscribers. Nice tag idea.
Thanks!

Audio might be a good option actually! Did you listen to the whole of the bit where they lost everyone on all the ships?

@@erinh7450 the only McKellen audiobook I've listened to is The Tempest and it was fantastic because he played the part on stage.
This is a very fun and original idea for a tag. Bravo. 👏
Thanks Jason!
Ooo Solaris sounds really good
It's great, but very weird haha
I love this! I am going to have to do this! I can't believe that I'm a tag 😅
Haha glad you are happy to be in the tag, I remembered after that you don't do many tags so I was hoping you'd be up for it!
How fun! What a great idea for a tag 🙂
Thanks! If you do it you can think of a book with a bocadillo in it for the last question haha.
@@AaronReadABook lol...yes, that would be easy to do. 😊
What a fun tag!
You should do it too Pat! I forgot to say everyone is tagged really 😁
@@AaronReadABook oh, I’ll do it, for sure! 😊
I’m a Prompt!! 🥰
I am honored
Your name is very easy to turn into a prompt but then it's really hard to answer😂

I'd love to read the Pope version one day but I think Fagles is good for a beginner. Glad to hear!
**rethinks channel name** 😂😂😂
You could be true crime, or a true story maybe haha
@@AaronReadABook haha I'll take a true story 😊
Glad you liked how to stop time as I've had that one for ages.
