wow, that pizza looks good. I'm too afraid to return to Portland even to visit, but if it wasn't so scary I'd make a trip and get a few slices from this business.
Mazel tov Phil! Having grown up in Jersey it's so comforting to me to have SFNY. You're also 100000% correct about ranch dressing 🤮 It's an insult to proper pizza crust. If you have to dip crust into ranch, the crust isn't worth eating. There are a million other places to go for that.
I grew up in NYC and the pizza parlours there always put Italien herbs on their pizze. No one does that anymore so I make my own. Hard to get real Italien mozzeralla though.
Looks delicious! Have to try it next time in Portland
I didn’t realize the Galleria location was the first. I always thought it was Escape 2.
Its In Northwest Portland,,,,
GREAT PIE!!!!
Check your headline. Northwest, not Northeast.
Great place

So is the Escape from New York in the Haight in SF owned by this guy too?

😁😁😁😁I love ranch....and I definitely remember and love escape from NY pizza😊😊😊😊😊
They need to change the name though. Escape from Portland is more appropriate.
That actually makes no sense at all.
Totally correct!!! Should be served on foil with a lighter like Portland residents smoking Fentanyl
@@CheapSquierBassPlayer The guy below you gets it.
Pretty basic pizza.
Stick to Little Caesars maggot
Pretty dumb comment.
