Ho Joe If the Magnesium is finer it burns better, you want a constant burn, no longer lasting metal Sparks, If you want to you can add about 10% Titanium Powder for a Tail.
Pyro George thanks man just wondering if you could use aluminum. if that's the case I'll use Mg is there other colors you can make with the same proportion as the barium nitrate?
what is the chemical composition? if you don't mind me asking.
Ba(NO3)2 - 60%
PVC - 20%
Magnesium - 20%
+6% dextrin(If you want for cut stars)
Pyro George thanks!
What do you use to activate the dextrin? Water or alcohol. Won't water react with the magnesium?
Can you tell me the composition? plz

Ty
Pyro George PVC is also a binder which gets activated by Aceton so i would use Aceton to Cut the Stars. Water(dextrin) would react with the Magnesium.
Pyro George thanks nice composition, may I know what mesh Mg/Al you used in this composition?

are you able to use aluminum in place of magnesium?
Brandon Bickers Yes you can but it will be less bright than Mg.

You can use strontium nitrate instead of barium, you will make red colour.
Sir pls give me composition..iwant make this..
