I love waiting forever to start playing my overbloated, unoptimized, always online, live service games running on servers that barely work and will be dead in a few years. Money and time well spent.
that’s why I love older games. boot up far cry 2 right now, you’ll literally spend longer getting your eyes used to the dark of the save room than it does for the game to load.
* Darktide 1.0.22 I recorded a total load of 2.5 minutes. This is the first moment I was swinging a weapon _inside_ the mission (not just the Mourningstar). Tried again today and it was 3.0 minutes (would've been slightly faster, but the last guy didn't ready up for 20 seconds). * Helldivers 2 today, I spent 12 minutes trying to matchmake into a match. When I finally got into one, my teammates lasted about halfway before all disconnecting. After the loss, I crashed to desktop at the destroyer-lobby.
Live service games need to die. Without several layers of useless hub logins your loading times would be less than 30 seconds You can try this on GTA v by suspending the multiplayer while loading it, it logins in instantly because it no longer needs to sync with 20 other systems
I recently saw a comment on another video that was talking about how long the loading times in Darktide are. So this what I wrote to them: "From me pressing the Play button on Steam and clicking as fast as I can through the menus and running to the console to join a random mission and loading in to the match takes me 2 min 17 sec. I have: GeForce RTX 3060, 32gb DDR4, i7-12700 12-Core. All game settings are on High and On besides Ray Tracing that is Off."
i genuinly love both of these games, but Helltide has been way more respectful to its players compared to Darktide. Both have predatory FOMO shops, but Helldiver 2 gives you the option to not spend real money on the rotation shop, where as that is the only way to buy the rotating armor inn Darktide. You also have tons of free cosmetics and armors in Helltide 2, where as the vast majority of skins in Darktide cost real money, what the fuck is fatshark doing.
The worse part about Darktide is you could be stuck in an infinite loading screen and won't realize it until minutes later.
this shit makes me want to read a book
Those Darktide loading times seem unbearable

Fuckin' hell. I'll just stick to single-player games.
Huh, it's nice to see you of all people here.
@@slash8297 Hey, thanks! But yeah, I've been following this channel for awhile. Loads of fun. :-D

I stopped playing Warframe years ago, I but will commend it for being able to get you in a game 60 seconds after you hit the title screen.
That’s what happens when your empire relies on a shitty ftl and comm system that uses a moody hell as its basis for thousands of years

yeah not even counting you have to babysit the game (hitting skips, countinue.) after you hit play on steam
Doesn’t take me nearly as long to load Darktide
Now do Darktide vs Killing Floor 2
Man you got some crazy darktide loading times.
Must be using the SSD instead of HDD.
Helldivers is fixed

Thank god the Psych Ward mod exists.

Helldivers has no fomo. The premium warbond is permanent. Also helltide is diablo 4 stuff lmao
Im talking about the super credit rotatry store, that is fomo promotion. Because it goes away and comes back, literally like darktide.@@tylermauer3131
