Opossums are great to have around and will not harm you. They eat their weight every night in creepy bugs and small snakes that are hiding in the yard along with any crumbs dropped during the day.
a natural way to repel possums is to put stockings of dog/cat fur around. we did it (in Australla) around our garage door as we had a possum living in roller part of our door and it worked!!

Pool noodles as bed bumpers. Put them under the fitted sheet, one on each side. They work great. You won’t need them long. Very affordable and effective!

The past 2 weeks have been a write off in my house, both kids and myself were sick, 3 trips to the doctors office! And my house has been falling apart. FYI the way the rain was pouring off your roof when it was raining, that is usually a sign that your gutters are blocked. Usually leaves and tree branches. You have done a great job nesting and getting your home and family prepared for the new baby, which I am guessing is a boy!

Ok for your / Alex’s theater room lol. Build a platform to raise theater seats on the back row and then put a sleeper sofa in front of that one and get rid of the tables so the sleeper sofa will have room to fold out. Such a nice space! Try beddy's bedding for Meredith bc it zips kind of like a sleeping bag and she may not fall out of the bed even without bumpers. Also it makes it easier to make the bed and she may be able to start trying to make her own bed with it.!
For the rug I’d suggest the order side of the bed. That way when she’s picking out clothes in the dresser or wardrobe she has something fuzzy to step on. The other side has toys that will likely hide in the rug and make it harder to clean and painful to step on.

Opossums are wonderful!! They can't carry rabies, they eat ticks and other rotting materials and bugs, and they leave everyone alone. They are incredibly beneficial!

We've had a wet Winter this year and Spring officially started 2 weeks ago and it's still raining. We've been married for 40 years and I've never owned a dryer. Usually I manage to juggle the laundry on airing racks and a rope on the patio. Or the sheets stay on the beds for an extra week. This year I've had to make a few trips to the laundromat to use the dryers (I wash at home). It's a 20 kilometre round trip.
Will you do a video on your cloth diapering routine?? I would love to see that. Due with baby #1 in December and planning on cloth diapering. I was so excited when you mentioned in another recent video that you've cloth diapered since the beginning.
Hello Kim, Wow, wow, wow. The patio/balcony looks great. The sheer volume of work you get through is frightening. I would feel better knowing you have a staff of 8 helping you. Please start banking some rest. Your mind and body will need all that and more post partum. I am worried about all your taking on (as your friend who does not live near by and therefore cannot help and doesn't really know you 😉) Just know we are all sending you love and do not worry for one moment about uploads. Your community is not going anywhere. If you must post something, maybe look at old videos and repost some of your favorites. I have seen other creators do it and it makes sense and its a fun blast from your past. Hopefully it fools the stupid algorithm. From our family to yours all the best!!

Have you thought about moving her bed against the wall this the flowers - it might open up the space. Can’t see if you have vents etc that prevent that. I found my kids loved living the furniture around a few times a year
Oh my goodness! In your movie theater room, you should do a daybed with a pull out trundle underneath. That way you’d have two layers of seating for movie nights and two beds for guests to sleep in. For movie watching, just put a bunch of lounge pillows on the back of the daybed to lean against. The trundle is perfect for kids to sit on. And then on the opposite side, you could do a long table with one side for movie snacks, popcorn, etc. and the other side open for guest luggage.

Opossums are super wonderful to have around your property! They help exterminate other harmful pests (especially ticks!) and are naturally more immune to diseases. They’re also very clean animals as they groom themselves meticulously. I’d keep the little fella around :)
I can’t believe how much you get done especially being 38 weeks preggo….movie room needs a projector, screen with black curtains draped behind it or paint the wall black, popcorn popper, candy stand, and of course you need drinks of some sort. This may sound kooky. I'd put wall away recliners up on that "stage" sleeper sofa in front of it, then an entertainment center with fireplace where your current sofa is. 🤗

Pool noodles under a fitted sheet on either side make great bumpers and super cheap. One noodle split down the length gives you a flat side too.

I love the fresh prince when I was a kid/teen. I also loved Malcom in the middle.

Wow, wow, wow. The patio/balcony looks great. The sheer volume of work you get through is frightening. I would feel better knowing you have a staff of 8 helping you. Please start banking some rest. Your mind and body will need all that and more post partum. I am worried about all your taking on (as your friend who does not live near by and therefore cannot help and doesn't really know you 😉) Just know we are all sending you love and do not worry for one moment about uploads. Your community is not going anywhere. If you must post something, maybe look at old videos and repost some of your favorites. I have seen other creators do it and it makes sense and its a fun blast from your past. Hopefully it fools the stupid algorithm. From our family to yours all the best!!
I vote to let Alex do the theater room. I think it would be fun for him to take over the channel and do a video with voice overs like you do and I'd love to see what he comes up with.

Have you thought about moving her bed against the wall this the flowers - it might open up the space. Can’t see if you have vents etc that prevent that. I found my kids loved living the furniture around a few times a year

Oh my goodness! In your movie theater room, you should do a daybed with a pull out trundle underneath. That way you’d have two layers of seating for movie nights and two beds for guests to sleep in. For movie watching, just put a bunch of lounge pillows on the back of the daybed to lean against. The trundle is perfect for kids to sit on.
And then on the opposite side, you could do a long table with one side for movie snacks, popcorn, etc. and the other side open for guest luggage.

The old fashioned guard rails just slip between the mattress and box spring. It's what we used all the time.

Opossums are super wonderful to have around your property! They help exterminate other harmful pests (especially ticks!) and are naturally more immune to diseases. They’re also very clean animals as they groom themselves meticulously. I’d keep the little fella around :)
I can’t believe how much you get done especially being 38 weeks preggo….movie room needs a projector, screen with black curtains draped behind it or paint the wall black, popcorn popper, candy stand, and of course you need drinks of some sort. The sleeper sofa would be great but then you need some recliners or something there. I can’t wait to see what you do next 😁 the balcony looks awesome and you just can’t beat that view wow 😮
Consider spraying your new outdoor furniture with a moisture protection spray so the cushions don’t mold or wear out too fast.
This may sound kooky. I'd put wall away recliners up on that "stage" sleeper sofa in front of it, then an entertainment center with fireplace where your current sofa is. 🤗
