@@srs5933 they had other original members that didn't stay with the band. What I'm saying is that Paul Young was a fantastic addition to a band that already had a lead singer, a keyboard player, guitar players, you name it. Basically, Paul Young could do all those things.
Ironic that Phil Collins always get's the blame/credit for Genesis more commercial sound in their later years while Mike + The Mechanics get's a free pass.
