This was our FIRST TIME car camping EVER in our new home, a Subaru Forester. Multiple times that night I thought, "What are we DOING? Is this sustainable?"

Get a tent with a kerosene heater and a blow up mattress. Enjoy!!!
We do have a tent, but we tried it a few days ago, and the stakes dont go into the hard Texan dirt (where we are now).. but I like the idea, we've just focused solely on the car for now!
