Yep, I agree, the whole idea requires closing your heart and being almost sociopathic. There’s a real difference between that and discipline and managing emotional responses which is perfectly healthy
trying to be indifferent made me act weird, made me more anxious and i just freaked out whenever he would message me, not know what to say and just end up avoiding it out of fear
I was indifferent after the breakup and I regret it. I feel like I missed my chance to tell her how much I loved her and how much she meant to me. It feels like I wasn't authentic to me. And I often think that if I had talked to her, things might have been different. I might have not gotten her back but the wouldn't be carrying that weight now..
I feel ya. That's why I always suggest that before cutting contact with an ex you should tell them exactly what you want and what they meant to you so there is no confusion about it. Hang in there!
she's not my Ex we are just having tough time , i've been trying to get her to understand what she will lose if i walk, so I've been focusing on myself
You are talking about being indifferent to when they talk , interact with you but what about when they dump you, block you on socials ? Should you be indifferent to the block or try to reach out somehow😊
Shared history and familiarity are probably the most common reasons. Also, dating kinda sucks at the moment, so I can understand that more and more people would rather go back to an old ex.

No never reach out specially if u been blocked
@@commere79 what if I fumbled the relationship
In that case, you can even be emotional if you want. As long as you don't reach out - or worse, keep reaching out to your ex - you're doing it right.
@@max.jancar so basically do nothing ?
@@TheTricky75 no, lol. fix your shit. that's far from nothing, that's everything.
