Kevin Durant is the mvp this season in my eyes.
Its kind of hard to accept that being that I've been a Fan of Dwyane Wade since his rookie year. Lebron James is considered to be one of the best players to play in the NBA. There will be never be anyone like him. So, I'll just say that each player takes turns when they dominate. Regardless of that fact, Heat will win the finals and I will finally get to see Lebron win something he has deserved for years.
Its partially age, not so much injury. He still plays amazing, the only reason he's not making Derrick Rose drives is because with LeBron and Bosh there, he no longer has to. There are more efficient ways to score.
I want a championship from them too. MVP is great and I think LeBron should be proud of the achievement, it being his third. However, he definitely should not be satisfied. They must win this year and he should instead use the MVP as a confidence booster rather than settling for it.
Lebron has helped the heat this season. Overall, no. Of course I can say this because He wasn't in the Heat since 03, but still. I think the only reason I seem to be against him all the time is for one reason. The hype of the guy. I'm happy for Wade and Lebron to be playing on the same team, but I also feel that since he joined the team...Wade hasn't been playing like we were all use to. Age? No. Injury? Most likely. I just want a championship from them. Lebron needs one. Wade 2
Are you kidding me? If you start doing the " they one because of that guy" then lets go a little deeper. Lets take the rings from larry bird, because he had amazing players from the celtics, Lets take the rings from magic johnson when he had the best scorer in NBA history, and lets take away Jordan's ring because he had scottie. See what I mean? Rings are won as a team, not by one guy. Wade was just the top scorer of the finals, but overall it was teamwork.
I'm happy about Lebron winning the MVP, the only problem is that I am getting pretty tired of people seeing this is his team. Its not. Its Wade's team because he has been there since day 1 and has led them to a championship. You know what forget it. Its a team effort. Team wins rings, not a player. I am a heat fan, I supported every player there since 03, but I like Wade much more though. xD
listen wade won the ring because he had sahquille oneal wade didnt play well until the finals i give yout that one lebron never had a monster like shaq on histeam just the fat shaq his team cleveland the year after he left have the worst record in the league you cannot win it by yourself then he go to miami and treturns to the finals by him being the closer on the boston and chicago series but wade wanted the mvp so he figure he nneded to be the closer and they failed better closer is lebron
I think Kobe should get it. The guy is leading the League in scoring in his 16th season. He closes games better than anyone of these guys espeacially Lebron. The lakers have had a rough season and they could very possible make a long playoff run maybe even make it to the finals. If kobe wasnt there they would be lucky to even make the playoffs. Kobe has played through alot of injuries this season and has consistanly preformed at the highest level.
LeBron is not a better closer, I don't know why he would say that. Let's not forget Wade's gamewinner against Charlotte....then again against Minnesota.....then again against Indiana. However, LeBron has helped the Heat a lot more than Wade and is definitely more valuable than him this season. He passess, rebounds, and scores better. He defends all five positions.
Wade deserved the MVP in the 08-09 season, when his stats were absolutely unbelievable. But this year, its LeBron's.
I'm a HUGE, and I mean HUGE Wade fan. But there's no way he can be MVP with the way he's been missing games. This year, LeBron has established himself as the on-court alpha dog (at least for the regular season). Look at their usage rates, the offense runs through LeBron more than Wade. LeBron plays far more minutes and has carried the team far more often. Wade was getting in the conversation but then things went bad. It is LeBron's year to win it.
Lol you aren t a heat fan but actually a wade fan , I know Lebron chocked in the finals but this year James has putted miami on his back all season long while wade was sitting on the sideline and he has been clutch this year. I love wade but you cant take shit from Lebron. (Last year he didnt win MVP cuz of his fourth quarter play but this year he is the whole package)... You might not like it but THE KING WILL BE THE 2012 MVP and FINALS MVP ..... BELIEVE IT !!
I understand the stats but regardless of that you need to understand that a team does not win games with one person. Just because Dwyane Wade wasn't playing those game doesn't mean that Lebron James had no one supporting him. I'm a heat fan so I'm happy that a player of the heat is going to win an MVP, but to go against your case. Lebron is not a better closer/clutch than Wade. Other wise James would have won a ring already. Wade put the team on his back last finals, where was James? Exactly.
Dwyane Wade? Oh, well at least he's winning finals MVP because he knows when to get serious rather than the no show. See? Been a heat fan since 2003 and I can't accept the fact that Lebron is on the team.. Actually, isn't the fact that Lebron is in a team with Chris Bosh and the real king of the Heat as in Dwyane Wade mean that he shouldn't be considered for MVP? Honestly MVP should belong to a player who puts the team on his back. It shouldn't be won just because of your record, just saying.
Congrats to LeBron he deserves it but this year i think KEVIN LOVE should be in the talk this year i mean if you average the stats he averages then your big time its a LONG season but MR LOVE is averaging 21.7 ppg 15.3 RPG that right there is a solid DOUBLE DOUBLE not saying hes going to be the MVP because i think MELO or DURANT will take it but he should be considered
I always disagreed with that form of assessment of "most valuable".
I believe "Most Valuable" simply means whoever would be the most valuable player in the NBA, even if their respective teams don't need them as much because they have other stars. Basically, I think it should be who would be the most sought after if they were a free agent.
1. lebron james- he is just so good
2. kevin durant- having a fantastic season wouldn't be suprised if he wins
3. kobe bryant- good season could be better and he is injured to much in this last month
4. derrick rose- not as good as last year injured a lot this year
5. kevin love- awsome number but his team is not going to make the playoffs
If Ricky Rubio was still good for this season, then he is the one to deserve an MVP... look how good he made Kevin Love. He was the most valuable player... a beauty to watch he was. I really don't see how all these explosive superstars like Lebron or Durant deserve an award for ''Most Valuable Player''; more like Most Explosive Player.
Even if he played the entire season, Rose would in no way have even sniffed the MVP this year. His team has proved it is just too good without him, his numbers are mediocre at best, and advanced stats show he only adds the minimal amount in scoring, defense etc.
Yes I agree, LeBron is the MVP. I'm just saying I agree that it should come down to who was better. Its the League MVP award not the team MVP award, for some reason people look at it as who's the most important to their team, not who's the most valuable player to have in the league.

Injuries seem to screw up Wade all the time. I don't know, I feel that Dwyane wade should be trusted with the ball in clucth moments because he knows what to do and he has done it in playoff situation. Compare it to Lebron..Wade easy. NO?
yet he still can score for his team. he can steal, play great defense, run a team with 3 HOFs and they trust him, also he doesn't quit on plays. And hes finish the season with I dont even know how many consecutive double doubles now.
I understand Rose is the reigning MVP and all, but he really shouldn't even be considered for this. When you miss more than a third of the season and play horribly in several of the few games you actually do play, you aren't an MVP.
I hate ''personal opinions'', next time if you want to make a video to everybody's tastes... consider taking your considerations into ''professional opinions'', which means that you observe every single player who has a level of MVP contributions.
Im a Pacers fan but I honestly think Rajon Rando should be the MVP, what he's done this year is ridiculous. He has 6 triple-doubles which is 6 times as many as anyone else. He's led the Celtics to the 4th seed, he honestly deserves at least consideration.
Chris Paul!!! Since when are the clippers a playoff team? Without chris paul they were garbage, with him they are a team to keep your eye on once the playoffs start... no matter who they get it will be a good series... but no playoffs without him.

Lebron James from the simple reason that he led Miami this year to the playoffs when DW and CB weren't at their best and missed alot of games,everybody knows that without the big 3 the Heat is trash.

Lebron is way better than Durant. Durant can score better, but lebron rebounds, assists, steals, better field goals. Im going with LeBron and i dont care what anyone will say.

The one reason i think KD might not make MVP is due to him leading the league in turnovers. hes still a VERY GREAT player.
