@@TheRollingGrill I just ordered some, Going to try it in General Tsos, Lo mein, and fried rice!
@@codys14 you said you ordered some? Where you at, can’t you go to Walmart and get some?😳😄😄😄
@@williecunningham3725 I'm lazy I'll Amazon errythang 🤣🤣
Not enough videos on here about liquid smoke.
Great in cocktails too
Hardest Man In Tarot I agree. Thanks for watching!
Liquid smoke in cocktails??? I need to look this up! Thanks for the info :)
no offense but I always thought the point of liquid smoke was to get the flavor when you aren’t using a grill or smoker. I need someone to test it out in an oven or something
You're correct it works best in a oven environment or in a marinade. Excellent is beans as well. The best use is in a marinade in my opinion.
My girl just used this and I can’t lie shit was 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Awesome video my man! I'm a chef in New Zealand trying to come up with some new menu ideas and your information helps a lot! Keep it up brother!
Right on Adam! Glad I can help and thanks for watching the video!
I put liquid smoke on my ham sandwiches
It smells like smoke because it is condensed smoke from a smokehouse.
Good video! I think the liquid smoke is better for using in beans and such like you said. It's also good to use indoors for those who don't have grills or smokers.
Nice job man! I would recommend having a microphone to attached to your shirt so we can hear you better
Turn up your hearing aid.
I can hear him just fine
I mostly use liquid smoke when I cook a pot of beans. How bout them Dawgs?loooove them
Thanks for watching! Go Dawgs!
I always use liquid smoke to marinate in overnight. It does make a difference in brisket especially when you're forced to oven bake it. I'll agree that using natural methods to smoke is best, but liquid smoke swill always have a place in my kitchen. 👍🏼
True that liquid smoke will never match the genuine flavor that wood gives, however liquid smoke does sure enhance any type of BBQ, especially ribs!!! Also in the end, it solely depends if the person prefers the liquid smoke or not, but I personally do!
If you live in an apartment, smoking something the old fashioned way isn't an option for you at all. So that answers the why someone would use liquid smoke instead. Additionally using a touch can give you some mild smokey flavor for a quick weeknight meal when you don't have time to fire up the grill and spend hours smoking something inbetween work and sleep.
I agree
Thanks for this! I live in an apartment in London so I have nowhere to Bbq. Wanted to see some reviews before I tried liquid smoke. Thanks again 👌🏾
Hey glad I could help! Let me know how that BBQ turns out. 👍🏾
I like this guy. Keeps it straight forward about pros and cons. I live in an apartment with a community coal grill a little bit of a walk just to get a proper grill taste. Always good to see another way to grill method wise
I live in a apartment in the city so smoking things aren't feasible. So I use this. But if I could do it all natural...I definitely would.
I agree all natural is always best. Thanks for watching!
Soy sauce, hickory smoke, and the brand Tenders salt pepper garlic blend is an awesome marinade
I thought people mainly uses this for cooking indoors like in a oven but want grilled tasting meats
They do. It's was just a test.
@@TheRollingGrill fasho my nigga
WAR EAGLE
"Why they would. . ." Um, some people are unfortunate and cannot buy a smoker or grill. So that would be a reason why. All good though.👍That's what happens when your brain is trying to catch up with your mouth.
And some of us live in flats, if we were to do it with wood, we'll get 100s of complaints
Yeah, I have tons of wood, and can smoke. What a PITA....Why mess around for "7 hours" when I can do it in an hour?
Once smoked for 15 min, or marinated, the meat doesn't care what you use to keep it hot.
1) Smoke or marinate, 20 min 2) Pressure cooker 20 min. 3) Air fryer for 5-6 minutes.
Tastes the same.
I think it's way too much. This stuff is very concentred.
Use liquid smoke after you cook, add with your bbq sauce!
Yes, I have similar, but I got the butt country ribs and mine are going in the oven…. Hey, what is Eric’s grilling dust? Are you Eric?😳😁😁😁
Man im hungry as hell
You are using way too much smoke. You should use less and make a marinade with oil and your seasoning.
How to I reach the website? How do you spell it out? I kept getting 404! Not Found
I'm just curious if the liquid smoke combined with the charcoal would over power the meat. I only use charcoal myself. Nice experiment 👍
Good Question. Actually it was a good balance of chargrill flavor and a little smoke flavor from the liquid smoke. Worked out great.
I really like Liquid Smoke especially the Hickory but I really love Liquid Smoke with wood chips double smoke nothing quite brings out that nice Smoky flavor so I would definitely recommend trying both of the same time if you want but the one thing I would highly recommend is soaking your wood chips in water for at least 2 hours anyways I hope everybody has a fun and safe Fourth of July
nope I most definitely couldn't taste the liquid smoke !!
Thank you for the video
Great job! I’m glad I found your video not many videos on liquid smoke. I have some, I ended up going to the meat market last minute (they are currently marinating in the fridge)and I don’t feel like putting them on the grill.. plus I just washed my hair 😂 wish me luck cuz these bad boys are going in the oven lol
kortney cheniel 😆 I love it!! No need to grill. I hope they come out perfect
The Rolling Grill they are 🔥 they be better on the grill but I’ll take it lol thank you!!!😘
I'll use a little of it on my Jerk chicken here in the UK winter months.
I use all real shit to make it and without fire, it's not the same, but this helps.
Less is definitely more though, I'm talking a tablespoon for two dozen whole legs in with the marinade, just to give it a hint.
Right on. Your right less is definitely more than enough.
As someone else mentioned theres not nearly enough good videos with Liquid Smoke killer video!
Did you put the zip lock bag over direct heat?
No they were so hot I just let them steam in the bag for a few to tender up even more. The bag never hit the grill.
It would be dangerous to do so, as it could potentially start a fire and plastic is toxic.
AMAZING THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟❤️🖤💚🤎 FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜,
I like using liquid smoke. And i like how you cooked them over the fire for 30mins on each side then went indirect. Some people just go indirect its like your not gonna brown them a bit.
I appreciate that! Like you said browning then indirect is the way to go. It give you so much flavor. Thanks for watching!
Hots to have my liquid smoke! 🤗 Especially cooking in the oven.
👍🏾
I love your recipe 😋
Thanks a lot 😊
Great video Eric. I was thinking about using some liquid smoke to smoke some salt
You should! It should work out great.
Why not go for smoked salt? I just got one 1000g..8.50cent.
I cook on a gas grill, not a chef but enjoy grilling what if put some of the liquid smoke in with my wood chip box, good idea or bad, definitely enjoyed the video, keep it coming man!!
I'm not sure that would work. You would probably get better smoke penetration with some wood chips that have been soaked in water for a few hours, drained and then allowed to burn slowly in the wood chip box.
I can't wait to try this! First video, first comment. Looking forward to see the other videos and new ones!
Welcome aboard!
I liked this even tho you're on a UGA hat 🐊🐊🐊😂
Right on! lol
I love that ziploc idea I'm gonna try that..love the video. Very informative..thank you..god bless.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
Use both .
Could you use the in a beef stew or casserole cooked in a slow cooker I've just got a bottle I am in UK never herd of it before so first time to use it thanks
Yes , it would work really well in Beef Stew and a casserole. Less is more in certain dishes so taste as you go when you use it.
Thanks rolling grill for your reply let's hope the stew turns out smokin lol
I use liquid smoke on baby back ribs in the oven and they are great; however, not all liquid smoke is created equal. Make sure you get a good quality one and a little goes a long way.
Go DAWGS baby ! Love some.ribs of any kind
Right on!
I love cooking with this
I’ve never seen the ziplock bag used before. After 45 minutes are they still warm or cooled off. Could you put them back on the grill for a few minutes to warm back up. They look good. Now I’m hungry. 👍
JohnCorey80 they are still warm. I usually put them in the Ziploc and put them in a foil pan and cover the pan to keep them warm. You can definitely put them back on the grill to warm them!
Thanks. 👍
Maybe if you used Wrights brand you would have better luck? Educational video.
I use liquid smoke for some homemade beef jerky, but that's about all it's good for.
I put it on my Stouffer's TV Dinners to add a smoky kinda feel and taste
It's not a simple hack.. however it does add a bit of that flavor.. don't expect it to work like the same but for canned goods, plus slow cooked items.. add a dash to sauce it has its place.. don't bother using in marinades or brines.. does zip nada nothing.. tried some making a bacon.. yeh didn't add much.. but found prep cook and add at the end our in a sauce.. works great.. also a bit in cannned beans fish.. etc works the treat :) liquid smoke depending on brand and wood.. little bit can add a bit of that idea when you don't have a smoker..
I live in an apartment where you can't have a grill or a smoker or anything like that. We're just trying to get by with what we got!
Go DAWGS
raw raw Yes Sir!! Go Dawgs!!
I like the zip lock bag idea!
Aweman! that zip lock bag was a really good tip! TFS!
Right on!
Did you put the zip lick bag in the grill direct or to the side indirect
Awesome 👏 nice hat man! Go dawgs!
Go Dawgs!
Nice job thanks 🙏
Thanks for watching!
Liquid Smoke is better to add to some souces to give some extra flavour
Harolds bbq in ATLANTA... best ever
Put the smoke after cooking and it tastes more
Yea
But if you grill doesn't that defeat the purpose
They were cooked over charcoal briquettes not wood. The flavor profile that briquettes put off is totally different than liquid smoke.
Go DAWGS!
Go Dawgs!
Damn that looks so damn good
Thanks!
It looks good
Thank You
I have that same grill!! awesome
Go Dawgs!
Dude that cut of meat is very forgiving. You probably could have just rubbed dirt and leaves on them and they'd still come out delicious.
Peter Huegele 😂
Looks good
Sir you have to let this rest for several hours, with plenty of juice, that’s the point of marinating
Charcoal is the wood stuff.. you should have tried in gas grill or oven.
That was nice and efficient, with no fluff or BS. Thank you Good trick with the bag.
Tommy Ciancia Thanks for watching!
Can we use this liquid for vaping?? If any one know please reply
Guddu Gurung No fam this is strictly for food, not lungs.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
In the 2.5 hours of cooking, you couldn't go get some tin foil? lol Great vid.
😁I know and the Walmart is up the street. lol
