I had two of my 3 granddaughters over last night and they wanted to make a purse, so I turned on You Tube to Posh Paper Lady and they had such a great time. They made 2 stars, a purse and 2 Hershey treat boxes! They did great for 10 years old!! Thanks Sherry!

Darling! I would put some sticky tape on the bottom flaps, leave the cover on it, and then when I need the bag, just peel off the cover and stick it down. Then no need to get out the glue! Keep a stack of chipboard cut to size with some sticky tape on it and just place inside over the flaps so no need to glue them down. I sure love these with the fur on them. You are so clever!
Thanks for sharing. Based on the volume of bags I make, Reptile Glue is a much more inexpensive adhesive for those project. This is just me, but I never use tape to secure a weight bearing bag. The degradation in the tape’s strength is a real problem. So glad you like that touch of fur...it is boss!!

Oooh. I love this cute little bag... I and with the new 12x12 Christmas pads I got a few days ago at Michaels, those Christmas cardstock pads came just in time for me to try this out! This will be super adorable in all those Christmas plaids and prints! I will use the faux fur that is sold at Joann fabrics. I used it once to make the cutest little Wreath. The fur isn't as fluffy but is super soft! Or maybe I will put my yarn to good use and create it that way... I gotta write all these ideas down! 😉

I just finished making my HO HO HO bag. The hardware was a little fiddly especially the thumb tacks. I got the wrong key rings, but I still used them. It is just going to take practice. I made two bags. Came out very cute. I have plenty of time to practice for next year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Sherry

So cute! Can’t wait to make some. From other crafty things I do, think I can round up everything I need. Letters from glitter card stock or gold /silver foil card stock ( die cut) would be nice too. My fur ( from JoAnn’s during a sale) is wider and I just cut it into smaller strips, for stockings, pillows, etc. Messy, but effective. Thanks again for sharing
