Wojciech Kaftanowicz Nergals vocals were killer and they still are but I think the tempo and play speed made this sound like Groove Metal. Especially the intro guitar riffs.
This is the OG version from Satanica. The new version is Chant for Eskaton 2000 e.v. I think it's a bonus track on The Apostasy or either as a separate EP
Fuck all that “this isn’t good” bs.. this version is awesome as the rest.. the aggression and brutality is amazing.. it’s gritty and not perfect and that makes it even better!! Of course they are tighter now.. this was 10 ish years after they formed.. they have had lineup changes and 20+ years of playing together since this. but the being young and pissed off and aggressive is shining through!! Love this performance.. flawed or not!
2001 laying guitar down carefully after performance. Even repositioning to make sure it's save. 2016 throwing the gear like 100 meters through the air, because the band developed mighty power and blind trust it will be savely catched by somebody, no matter what.
Honestly I have to say not a fan of the guitar work in this performance its not very tight although I understand at this time they were fairly new and nergals vocals make up for it bc he sounds awesome here.

I believe this is the original version that was first on the Satanica album. The version you’re probably thinking of is the re recorded one from an ep called eschaton that was released in 2008. After that, that was the version they started playing live instead
