Wiring a Pneumatic Solenoid Valve (Better Tutorial)- using Centronics cable for animatronics

- This is a clearer and better tutorial than my last on "how to wire pneumatic solenoid valves". This tutorial pertains to animatronics (Halloween, Chuck E. Cheese/showbiz pizza, or homemade) but can apply to anything that uses pneumatics. In the video, I explain how to strip wires, connect them into the screw terminal on the solenoid, as well as a 25-pin Centronics breakout box (typically the standard size). At the end of the video, I test out the connections by sending electrical signals to each valve to ensure the wiring is correct.

I am NOT a professional, and there probably is a better way to do this. This is simply how I go about wiring these valves. It works and it’s organized, that’s all I need it to be.

This video is really informal and I’ll use this when I wore my own valves! Thank you!
Glad you found it informative!
Hi. Could u tell me what software and controller you use? i'm planning to use Vixen with just my PC to the valves but i wanna try the one you use too.
thank you so much
Happy to help!
@@collegetoycollector may I ask which positive wire from which valve should I use or does it not matter? And can it go into any empty port on the convertor?
@@chuckatronics all positive wires get connected together with a wire nut, only a single wire goes into channel 25.
@@collegetoycollector mhm, what does it matter what valve the positive wire comes from?
