this band is the only thing getting me through this time. especially because their albums have this unmatched quality where the more you listen to them, the more you hear the intricacies, the outside influence, the love for and devotion to music. there is this filthy underground glamorous flair to it all. there is very little music these days that is so deeply layered, i’ve listened to their last 2 albums at least once a day for months and i’m still not sick of it. last show i saw before quarantine, hope i get to see them on the other side.
That happened to me on stray, on first listen I didn’t catch how dense the details in the music where. And now I listen and sometimes catch a new melody or sounds among it all. I love that .
I’ve had both Shadow on Everything and Stray on repeat since the start of quarantine. Really love these guys. It’s almost as if Berlin era Nick Cave fronted the Gun Club. It’s a familiar sound but they’ve added a sense of urgency to it.
So much passion! Very good presentation, this band has been trying to break through for a while, it seems to me that it is in England where they have had an impact. They are good, they deserve more attention.
AOTY. Saw them at the sunset the day before this session. Overwhelmingly good. Last one I went to before COVID... fitting, considering they became my COVID band
Such a cool band. Stray is a great record and a lot more developed than their other records. Such great, intense and scary storytelling. Can't wait to see them tour whenever that happens again.
I just randomly searched this band cuz I freaking I’ve their new album stray. Been a subscriber to kexp since the beginning but I never got this notification?!? Oh well GREAT band and I know it’s gonna be a great performance! Oh and how I got into them was they opened for Liars and Angus used them as his band when they played in chapel Hill and these guys Killed it. Great show love liars and love Bambara I wish they’d do a side project together
March 4th. It's crazy to think how even then they began to isolate themselves in the creative process. I remember it was the 16th when everybody started to follow the protocol.

@@NedKelly1971 YES!! What a day !
This feeling, when the DRUMMER is the most energetic guy on stage. Great band!
He has always given 200,000% with each performance
A film noir + Tarantino style + Nick Cave = Bambara - Great
There in my town next week seeing them
Opening for the Foo Fighters in Syracuse. I’m
Checking them out!!
I needed this so much
This version of Heat Lightning is fucking fantastic!

Man this made my day.. I missed your show due to COVID and playing at kexp and with Idles release too I feel like it might be a good day 🖤🖤🖤Dawn
Amazing, can't wait for the re-scheduled show in Birmingham
El único show que me dejo ver covid 19 en LA 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
If the Doors never aged and just got better and better over time they eventually would have become Bambara
Superb band, made such a progress through the long time they're active. Great session, thanks
Hell yeah.
These guys deserve more attention 😑
Fantastic band, "Stray" is a top notch.
Finally 🤍
Come on baby, let's have some fun.
They remind me of Jonathan Fire-Eater: that's good.
Serafina Fantastic
nice. idles collab?
KEXP reading minds as usual :praiseemoji:
hello Nick Cave too
Support anger. This is all we've got.
Nick Caves got a new band?
Love the sound but great to find a new band!
Trying to figure out if this is the same Bambara that released a tune "Shake" like 13 or 14 years ago is it?
Yes
Why is Anton Chigurh with a mic?
You see me?
It's nothing new or extraordinary, but it's played with such truth, with so much lust that makes it very special! Serafina!
Isn't this Nick Cave?
I love them. To me their music is a little alike protomartyr raw, almost no artifice based on the song writing not on the effect and that's cool.
ottimi musicisti..lui mi ricorda Jim Morrison..
