Heey guys the guy with three arms on one side is called the changeling. He's a servant of Tzeentch and his main thing is sowing chaos. In the beginning, you saw him change into the ice witch to make the forest people attack the innocent Kislevites. He was then the little onyx crowman that gave the jade dragon the letter that made him go to war. Hence "Shadows of Change"
Fun fact, Harald Hammerstorm or Harry the Hammer was the very first character created for warhammer, He was the embodiment of the Warhammer in the franchise name, Until they created Sigmar with his hammer. So he's a little special to the community.

The "you are next" vampire is Vlad Von Carstein and he is the one that killed Harald in their fight in lore. so technically the cinematic ends right before Haralds death.
The beeing in the end is the Changeling a deamon of tzeentch that plays pranks on people which often result in wars between Nations/Groups/Factions. One time he even pranked Khorne by placing a few nurglings on the skull throne without anyone noticing. When Khorne sat down he naturally squashed them and the bloated nurglingbodys acted as makeshift chaos whoopee cushions, creating a loud fart noice while beeing crushed 🤣here in this trailer we see him pranking the other 2 new commanders of the game into different wars by shapeshifting into a lady of Kislev or the messenger raven respectivly. It is said that not even tzeentch knows what the changeling has planned as his next pranks but he enjoys them very much xD

5:15: So those two are called the Blue Scribes. They're a pair of minor demons who've been charged by Tzeentch himself to travel the world on that mutated Screamer and write down every bit of magical lore in existence. He didn't want to trust ONE demon with that kind of power, so he made that one of them can only write stuff down, while only the other one can actually read the scrolls they've written. When they get into a battle, the latter one basically just grabs scrolls at random and uses them to fire off whatever spell is on the scroll in question.
This is actually portrayed in game, too: The two have acces to ALL lores of magic and spells in the game... but you only get six random ones to choose between and the moment you use one, all six are immediately re-rolled. They're a literal magic slot machine.
The cool thing about Harald Hammerstorm, or "Harry the Hammer," is that he's the first character created for Warhammer, and one of his special abilities is that he's able to make the undead run in fear - something that they are normally completely immune to! He's so terrifying that mindless zombies and skeletons will TURN AND RUN from him!
Harry Hammerhams is the "Abdul Goldberg" of Fantasy, aka the first guy to be a named person of renown.
The Changeling is infamous for impersonating persons of renown and starting infighting across entire continents, and has even pranked Nurgle and Khorne themselves more than once. In the trailer he starts a fight between Mother Ostankya (Baba Yaga) and Tzarina Katarin by impersonating Katarin, and then starts a fight between Yuan Bao, The Jade Dragon and The Scribes of Blue, a herald of Tzeentch. Yes not even his own side is safe from his bullshit.
He's impersonating a random Ice Witch there, not Katarin.

The Changling is a daemon of Tzeentch that can take on the form of anything he wants, the only being he cannot take the form of, is Tzeentch.
both in lore and in total war apparently, he's able to even take on the form of Skarbrand which is kinda funny.
Skarbrand doing the pointing Spiderman meme with himself would be a funny scene to witness in Warhammer lore.
As far as I know, he also can't switch to his "real" form.

The coolest part about Harald Hammerstorm is when you see him doing his warcry, all the undead stop dead (no pun intented) in their tracks.
His presence actually instills fear into the undead.
Despite many having no will or sense of self, they do get a flicker of pure dread due to his wrathful gaze locking onto them.
Harry the hammer's the guy that started killing undead to such a point even the dead would remember fear, he's one of the only people?, that can actually cause undead to run in terror from him.
Also him and the empire measuring hammer sizes...

The Loki of Warhammer Fantasy, The changeling The grand trickster of Tzeentch who can take on any form but his master, lord of change himself. No one knows of his true form except Tzeentch. His whole existence is just cause trouble as much as possible as he can.
Mother Ostankya, the witch of the wood, the force of Kislev true wild power. She's Baba Yaga of Warhammer, but a nature lover. She doesn't serve the ice court or Kostaltyn. She has her own faction.
Yuan Bo the jade dragon, the bureaucrat and the master of Central Grand Cathay. Trade master and executioner of the dragon emperor.
With how much you guys seem to like Fantasy Warhammer, i think it would be cool to do a bit of a deep dive into various characters from the universe. There is a youtuber called PancreasNoWork, he does videos about both Fantasy and the 40k setting. His fantasy warhammer videos are basically Bricky 40k videos, they are so good. So i highly recommend checking out his "Karl Franz - Prince, Emperor, and So Much More" video. It's a lot of fun and you get to know one of the best characters from the fantasy settting.

Harry the Hammer is so iconic in Warhammer.
On the tabletop he’s the only character in the setting that causes terror in Undead, who are normally immune to psychology because they’re already dead - he’s just THAT good at crushing undead beneath his hammer, he inspires terror in all but the strongest undead xD

CA definitely does a good job making each faction feel unique for the most part. Even in that last trailer, they do a real good job of highlighting the new characters and units being brought to Kislev, Cathay, and Tzeentch.

It's been a long time, been caught up with life, but while im at work, I do get to listen to ur videos and I enjoy ur MK and Apex videos alot ( mostly cause I dig deep into both lores. ) There's others on ur channel, but love what you guys do anyway. However, I'm going to break down anything as I watch ur video at this moment
Quick break down
Harald Hammerstorm was like THEE OG character with the warhammer, like before Sigmar and he was their poster boy back in the day somewhat for the WHF series itself ( before Sigmar realy took to fame )
Btw at the end when you said "you're next" What's funny is, Vlad murders Harald in the End Times after they duel, that was kind of the flash back and shout out to what happens in the future Xd. However it is an epic trailer and I absolutely love it, along with the Soundtrack :D
Now to break down the new trailer
3:53 - That is the changling, he is one of WHF's biggest pranksters ( first one being Tzeentch himself, duh??? ) Regardless his goal is to prank everyone in one big ol prank show and that's what we see in the trailer when he sets Mother Stankyleg's shrine on fire. Thus causing her to become angry and send her forces to attack the new by Kilsev City. In the end when he's looking at the burning city, what they don't tell you is that he's saying "it's all just a prank bro." lol
The beasts aren't actually native to the woodland witch, but imo they fit in perfectly. One of those units actually goes "more" with the beastmen as the big dudes are Incarnate Elemental of Beasts which both the Imperials and Beastmen make use of, mostly beastmen due to dark magic and so on. However Imperials will use them to, but imo they fit find with her and they should cause the whole trailer felt like a darker side of Kilsev anyway
The thing in the woods are the smaller ones, and they again don't necessary belong to Mother Stankylegs nor Kilsev, but to chaos itself, ironically but imo they again fit this theme due to how they look and we get that darker undertone, so imo CA made the right call despite fans ( some ) being upset about it
Now onto Yuan Bo who is a brand new character entirely
If you didn't notice the changling shape shifted into an Onyx Crowmen ( they are the spies and snatchers of old cathay, picking up people who don't belong there and taking them away or if someone was committing a BIG crime ( worshipping Chaos for example ), they'd take u away to. Regardless changling shapeshifts into it and gives fake orders to Yuan Bo and thus sets him up for an ambush in which he falls for ( if u watch it again u can see portals opening up all around the Cathayan army
The two people u saw "riding" are known as the Blue Scribes of Tzeentch, they are two very special minions that go around the entire multiverse gathering every single magical spell and basically bringing it back to Tzeentch. ( if u didnt know all magic comes from Tzeentch and all spells are in theory, a part of him ). They were riding though a disc of Tzeentch/a screamer into battle. The stingrays ure talking about are a entirely different unit though, but they are pulled by IIRC like 1 or 2, but they are also known as screamers and they were part of the tzeentch roster when they first came out, what u saw an RoR version of them
Yuan Bo didn't come out of the fire of the dragon, he is the dragon much like his siblings, he can turn into a dragon and he's known as the Jaded Dragon :)
At the end its the changling, he just turned back to his original form and he was at the beginning, because the "woman" was just a random Kilsevite Icewitch that he picked to do his "it's just a prank bro" on that near by city haha
Regardless never stop doing ur videos, I absolutely love them. There is more stuff I didn't comment cause it didn't quite catch ur eye I think, including one of the famous Legendary heroes ( dude that pulls his sword out of the ground during his fight with Cathay ), but overall never stop posting away, I absolutely love ur reactions and the questions you ask because I think in a way ure asking not for just urselves, but for other people who don't know and so fans like myself can come by and explain most if not everything shown on the trailer. :D
I have said it a lot of times before , but you should take a look at Cody Bonds's "Noobs guide to Total War Wahammer" that way you can actually learn the lore of the characters you see in the trailers.

I can say without question that the Changeling is my favorite Warhammer demon.
The funny things about the Changeling, is that he doesn’t really care about Tzeentch or spreading corruption… he just likes to prank people… which admittedly leads to a lot of ruin and death.
Isnt that Tzeentchs stick as well?
He makes plans and schemes to counter his own plans and schemes so that they succeed and fail.
Otherwise he would cease to exist.

I mean, you might have seen the Changeling in the other trailers... We'll never know for certain.
In fact the trailer isn't being rhetorical when it talks about becoming in nightmare, Hammestorm has the unique ability to cause fear and demoralize undead units, which are unbreakable and fight until totally destroyed. He can make them run away.
The Blue scribes ride a stingray-shaped demon that they use as a mount.
He is the Jade Dragon Yuan Bo, many believed that he would not come out because he described himself as a non-fighting bureaucrat. He is not the favorite son of his mother or his father, he is the second favorite of both, hence he has the most important position managing all the bureaucracy that keeps the empire running. But apparently that's just his public image and he's the secret leader of Cathay's spy service and executioner (to the point that he wields the Dragon Emperor's sword, forged from one of the emperor's own fangs, which arguably grants him access to the most broken ability in the game currently) and personal agent of the Dragon Emperor.
The floating hooded figure is the Changeling, a demon of Tzeentch who can take any form except Tzeentch itself (who knew the kind of danger and trouble such a creature would pose and take measures against that), an infiltrator and impostor almost impossible to spot. detect and has caused terrible tragedies both to the other chaos gods (all of whom want the Changeling perma-dead) and to the mortal world. My personal theory is that the objective of his campaign is to achieve enough power to be able to take the only form that he cannot take, that of his creator Tzeenthc.
The Hammerstorm is such ridiculous edgelord name. I love it, perfect for the first Warhammer character.
