"Andre Galvao is one of the greatest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes of all time, with 6 IBJJF World Championship titles, 10 IBJJF Pan American Championships, and 6 ADCC World Championship titles (4x as the ADCC Super Fight Champion). He received his black belt from Luis “Careca” Dagmar, having also worked extensively with Fernando Terere. Galvão is also a former mixed martial artist, with an MMA record of 5-2-0 before he retired to lead the Atos Jiu-Jitsu Academy's Headquarters in San Diego, California. Today, Atos is considered one of the best Jiu-Jitsu academies in the world, producing World Champion athletes at all levels, from juvenile and white belt all the way to black belt.

As a grappler of similar build, these techniques were $. When flow rolling with lil guys, they're notorious for attacking my back, side c, & kob. Climbing up out of back/side control is new. I normally look at their choking bicep or sink downward. Amid stiffness, I will still try your approaches soon. Thx 4 summary & detailed explanations, great job!

..loads of simple information to use and add. Sometimes its not techniques that you need...its simple basic movements n mechanical principles and concepts of angles. The approach here is to be like a wet mobile floppy fish...hard to control and grab a moving object that just continues to move evade and dodge 😁👍💥👍

I have the best sidemount escape. It was taught to me from my old teacher who was taught by a Gracie. They never show it anywhere online because it involves you turning away from opponent somewhat, but it works every time.
