How Science Uncovered Consciousness and Found Vedanta

- In the previous video we saw the central role consciousness plays in shaping reality. Only an observer can bring a particle into existence. So, an observer is required to bring the universe into existence.
In this post we will see how scientists are trying to make sense of this incredible finding
Even before the emergence of quantum physics it became evident that conscious beings have an important place in the universe. Universe itself appears to be fine-tuned for life.
It became apparent that without factoring consciousness, the laws of the nature would be incomplete. This led to the emergence of a theory in cosmology called the Anthropic principle. According to this theory, the universe was designed with the goal and purpose of generating and sustaining life.
Many of the current theories in Physics closely resembles the advaitic teachings of our sages.I have been passionate about both these two subjects all my life. Quantum physics has arrived at these conclusions through rigorous scientific method. We don’t know for sure how Vedanta arrived at these conclusions. Some say it is through deep meditation, introspection, thought experiments and revelations. Whatever the method, there is no denying that Vedanta was onto some fundamental truth about the nature of universe. I strongly believe that both these subjects can benefit from each other’s knowledge. Vedanta has the capacity to answer many unanswered questions in Quantum physics. And Quantum physics can transform Vedanta from being perceived as only a philosophical text to a scientific treatise. Modern science lost its soul when it divorced itself from consciousness and the Vedanta was undermined when it became a subject of faith rather than knowledge and reasoning. Somewhere on the way we forgot that Veda means knowledge and Vedanta means the zenith of knowledge. I strongly believe that their union would bring together our internal and external worlds and lead humanity to a great future.

You don't know how satisfied I feel after finding your channel! I am extremely passionate about consciousness, quantum physics, and discovering the true reality. I even did a research project on the quantum mind, when I was in 11th, but at that time I couldn't find any answer to the particle detector version of the double slit experiment. It's been famously said that, whatever there is to be found in the world, has already been done so in Bharat. Sadly, much physical proof of our knowledge has been burnt in invasions. I dream of bridging the gap between science and spirituality. Studying one shouldn't be different from the other. I am currently a medical student, and I want to become a scientist for this cause, in future. Which degree/institution in our country supports such research? I am also curious to know your profession!

Latest theories on Quantum Physics suggests that the Universe is manifested when observed by a conscious observer. By Conscious Observer, do you mean an individual (jiva) or do you really mean Atman Self Brahman?
If Jiva, then is it fair to say that cutting-edge science is currently considering Drshti-Srshti Vada or Srshti-Drshti Vada?
If Self then as Self is Nirguna Brahman, then there is no relattionship between Atma-Brahman and the manifest or unmanifest ie Ajatawada?
I think modern science has no conceptual models (yet!) for Saguna Brahman - the background screen for both the Knower manifested individual observer (with reflect consciousness chidabhasa) or Known manifested Jagat.
Hence, I don't think modern science (or western philosophy) has an equivalent for Nirguna Brahman Absolute Reality.

I wonder how our ancestors are so much capable of such a complicated subject like quantam theory. Explained in a simple way. Even today scienctist struggle to prove with various theories.
Congratulations for such a well thought-out presentation. Alternate view: Before the arrival of human beings there was/is unborn/uncreated cosmic consciousness (Brahman) and that might explain the existence of the universe. In fact, I understand that in the term Brahman, the root "Brh" means "to burst forth", which reminds of Big Bang.

I'm sorry but please stop mangling and twisting what you found in quantum mechanics to elude to any form of spirtualistic shaman thinking.
It is incredibly idiotic to say that the anthropic principle means that we observers have created the universe rather it only means that the laws of physic of our universe must be such that it allows the existence of humans and by extension us.
This sort of baseless non-scientific theories and referencing the notion of a decadent past is an ugly filter to enjoy the world and its many mysterious as they exist already.
You should know better as you clearly understand physics till a certain extent at least.
