The brown florist tape was a game changer! Looks great 😊
Just a hint. When using the tape pull slightly and wrap on itself. The stretching makes it sticky so you do not need to press and you will get a smoother, less bulky look.

Yes Mary, I knew you could get the “Brown Floral Tape”. I ordered some for our youngest daughter’s wedding. I too wanted to match the natural color of branches. So I ordered 3 ….”3” thinking I was going to get 3 Rolls…. There were 10 in a ROLL ! LOL!!!!! She was married 10 years ago and I still have not opened 2 packages….LOL!!!

Plaster of Paris works to permanently hold a tree in place. Especially if you want to use a flower pot.
Wonderful. Almost like a Bonsai, so elegant and very realistic. I'm here for a conservatory build, anytime! I love the ones made from all different old windows, so much character. The Botanical Garden was stunning!
I have had trees like that in my home for years. I put the mini fairy lights on them and fall foliage on them with the brown wrapped wire. That way it's easy to change out my leaves for different seasons. In the winter, the trees are bare but with the mini lights that really doesn't matter.

That’s showing them Mary! I was at Lowe’s home improvement store yesterday and saw a faux palm and it was $169.00! 😳 No where near as nice as yours! That brown florist tape is the trick! Thank you for the lovely footage of the conservatory. We have one at the Biltmore House and Gardens near my home. I love walking through there and seeing all the orchids and other tropical plants. I also have a dream of having a little greenhouse/conservatory to sit in and relax. Knowing you Mary, you’ll build your own out of some leftover windows, etc., and it will look like a million bucks!!! 🌿
The tree turned out wonderfully. It really is the perfect touch for that corner. I really haven't paid too much attention to it in the past but I love your flooring. So many houses have a grayish flooring but I love your rich brown with all the white. You have such a good "eye".

Your cute she shed is a mini conservatory. Tree is definitely more affordable and nice that you made it. I liked the branch raw when you first put it behind the pretty sofa. ❤
I did the same thing for an outdoor Christmas display. I used a branch and white sparkly picks wired on from the Dollar Store. With a flood light on them, they were gorgeous at night and by day they looked covered in hoar frost. Best DYI ever!

I love the sounds of waterfalls. We live near Pocono's in PA one summer my husband and I got in the car and drove there and got to walk to see 4 different waterfalls. It was just awesome!

Fabulous idea! Great finished product. I love Christmas trees and thrift/collect them. I discard the stands and use quick dry cement, old crockery, flower pots, canisters etc. Just hold it straight for 10 minutes and they fit anywhere. You are hands down my favourite UA-cam personality.
