Even though my bench has a similar setup the miter saw has become my least used tool by far. I only use it for long repetitive cuts which is rare. I use my table saw with the same incra miter gauge and sled for almost everything and it’s way more accurate. Plus without the miter saw the bench can be flat work space for pocket hole drilling and assembling projects. Not to mention no need for those flip ups. Also my table saw is on the end so the bench is an out feed table. Incredible bench though. I did use your dust collection idea but integrated a “box” with separate gate valves for each tool.
You're Dewalt bench was the best set up all-in-one workbench I had ever seen... until now. Love what you've done with this Milwaukee bench. Also thought you're t-shirt was a perfect add on to the 2 benches.
My friend, this is HANDS DOWN the ultimate all-in-one workstation that I have been trying to piece in my mind on how to approach it in addition to some other ideas you implemented. This is EXACTLY what I need due to my multi-use garage. As a woodworking hobbyist this checks off all my boxes and some. I guess minus the radio. I'm just curious what the fixed size of the table dimensions are without the flip up extensions are length x width.
As an engineer this really made me excited. Congrats on a successful second revision. You can tell you really evaluated the DeWalt build and brought in a ton of new functionality from the lessons learned. Looking forward to seeing more videos.
I’m trying to design some extruded aluminum flip ups. Do you have suggestions for what type is sufficient for durability.. 2020?? 4040?? What did you use?
This is an outstanding bench, both in design and execution. One question -- I didn't see any of the 80/20 listed including all the connectors and struts and sliders and the like. I also checked your website and the listing of the "plans" says you'll get a full BOM with links but I want to be sure that includes EVERYTHING including all the 80/20 stuff. Please let me know thanks!!!
I thought so. I'm in the steel industry, and we mostly use SDS2, Tekla and Revit. I've worked with and imported solidworks models into mine before, but never used it before. Is it pretty user friendly? I've messed with Sketchup on and off for a few years as well for random house projects and what not to, but really like the way your model pictures looked with solidworks. Great work!

Hi love the video. For the plans I saw you state the lumber but didn’t see anything for costs for the extruders. Is that part of the cost of “lumber”?
I'm finally building the dewalt table after years of buying the plans. I wanna add the linear rails to the table saw, but looks kind of tough to mount to the tube structure. How would you mount it? D rings?
I am sure you can understand the following. i purchased your M bench plans two years ago. I downloaded the plans, videos that accompanied the purchase etc. Since then I have to say life got in the way. And now I am not able to find the downloads. I can show the proof of purchase. How could I obtain a 2nd set to replace the ones that are now gone?
Well done! I can’t imagine the design engineering done and improvisations needed throughout the construction. I sure hope to build one that is identical!
Man…You are one Anal/OCD Dude! Now I’m following you!! Haha…I built one very similar and am working on my second and will be incorporating some of the 80/20 material also. The linear actuator is what I want to use on my bench stands underneath instead of the foot-brake style after catching/smashing my toes in one of the Vestil brand. Yea it’s over-kill but I refer to it as “Velvet-Ass Syndrome”! Haha. Very nice build…
Very cool work station. You had to lay in bed at night and think 🤔 about your next move. Lol I love what you did with battery tools and charger. Milwaukee tools are hard to beat. We have tested battery drills again all others with only one brand that that could hang with them. All I can say is ( you are the man ). That’s for sharing you work station.🤙🤙🤙
So, you must have won the lottery jackpot? Most people I know, including myself, could never afford what you have. Basically this. Is a "dream" workshop setup.
I love this workbench but like the Dewalt tools and the chorded approach, AND with the packout system. I wonder if this could be made much cheaper and lighter by making simple wood supports that hold up the drop sections - I have not quite seen why you might need adjustability? Does the tablesaw really need a motor to move it? Could you simply slide it by hand and lock it into place somehow? What a beautiful system you have built. Thank you for sharing it.
Come on man…you’ve literally destroyed, blown out of the water every other integrated workbench that exists or ever will, for all time, on UA-cam! The Dewalt was nice but this one is beautiful. Please do one for Makita and Ridgid.
I'm not jealous, you're jealous. No, seriously, amazing build. So much thought went into this bad boy. Even the CAD drawings were excellent. Who is this guy!?! The Tony Robbins of woodworking?
Nice job, but why use cordless tools if you still need to plug the cart in? Tools are stationary on the cart why not just plug em in? I'm generally curious and not knocking your beautiful workman ship.
Kind of explained in the video but having the vacuum and table saw running at the same time on the same circuit can trip it. Having cordless tools eliminates that issue.
Wow…..just Wow! Very well thought out and engineered. I have 1/2 of my 2 car garage dedicated to my wood shop - after watching this video I could have just built it all into one bench! Great video!
Plans, photos & videos purchased + subscribed! Wow, I can’t wait to turn my Milwaukee investment into that beast. The only tools I’m missing are the vacuum & router - already started accumulating the components from your affiliate links in this video - THANK YOU!

Personally I think it is perfect for a woodworking environment because the sawdust goes through and is very easily vacuumed up later. No longer tracking around dust it just stays down there until you are ready to clean it up.
Thanks. I tried to broach that question with the SwissTrax people. even after bumping this question to a supervisor, they had no one with any experience or expertise who had tried this to definitively answer the question. SwissTrax also has no references to woodworking shops on their web site either - everything is focused on automotive mechanics and detailing, or other, family-oriented garage uses. And I want to know how well 800-pound rolling cabinets on 5-inch caster wheels, and cabinets on smaller (and narrower) 4-inch and 3-inch wheels handle the surface gaps and whether the flat-topped or rounded top version is best for those uses…
