Great review. They make pull-ups fun/easier. I also use these on a hex bar (for deadlifts/squats) when injury /niggles threaten my lower back (poor mobility = poor form). This feels a lot safer (and maybe with time will allow a progression back to full range of motion and better form).
I think they are different enough to have various uses, depending on your needs. For instance, if you aren’t going to use Swissies for cable machine attachments, there’s no need for the new ones in my opinion.
Great review sir
In any case, thanks for the review. 👍

Hope it does. At 47, I’ve been working on mobility issues more than muscle and strength these days.
Which Swissies would you recommend for doing band deadlifts and pull downs with?
The original Swissies.
@@TheologyGeekFitness sounds great thank you Johnathan for the information. I appreciate it.
What are those pulley things on your pull up bar?
Just some cable pulleys I picked up off of Amazon.
Search “cable pulley gym” and a ton of options will pop up. They’re all mostly the same.
It looks like the most I could pay is about 200 bucks for everything I could want in a pulley attachment. But I am sure something would be missing,
@@TheologyGeekFitness they need to work with dumbbell weights No room for a bunch of plates.
@@TheologyGeekFitness I would pay for a Tonal, if I had room
I use the Angles90 homemade weight (it’s a net) for using a cable pulley with dumbbells.

If I knew they were going to come out with improved versions, I wouldn’t have bought the originals. Now I feel like I wasted my money.
