I wish, maybe if this season was being judged properly but with the way things are going it's starting to look like it's between Makayla and Virgo, with a third/fourth place of Jaylene, Minhi, or Xana
I feel like it’s a repeat of last season, where she and Makayla are the people everybody wants to win, but Virgo is the queen who actually does. Nothing against Virgo though! She’s a million times better than Venus ever could be or will be
It is really weird that fast fashion was a category, that's why it was so confusing. I'm glad that there is a collective agreement that Jaylene should have won lol. There were also two things that I had gripes with about Minhi's outfit. Firstly, there needs to be a mention out there that muscular women exist and that being muscular doesn't negate being feminine imo. Also her outfit is the epitome of "is it good, or is she just skinny/fit?". I understand that she wanted to be proud of her body, but it really is hard to sympathize with somebody who is a perfect 10 in the eyes of most people 🤷🏽♀️
Sanjina was deff the confessional queen and personality of season 5. I was so sad to see her go but I don’t think she was as ready as she thought for drag race. She’ll deff slay the competition once she does a little more growing as a person and performer/drag artist ❤❤❤ much love for her 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
Team Q for the sheer fact she was pointing out PJ’s hypocrisy talking about other girls looks when she was lookin busted with her breast plate hangin out, which is clearly what Q grabbed.
The whole body positive angle they have Minnie (as a plus size person) made me roll my eyes. Plus size queens who go full body in the way Minnie did get praise just from from themselves but not from the judges to trick audiences into believing the judges are fat positive. I’m over the fakeness
Maintaining a ripped physique is NOT easy. It takes a lot of discipline and effort. Art of drag should not just be limited to a feminized physique when there are women out there with masculine features. Obviously it was brave since the fandom likes to bash on men with muscles while also overseggsualizing them.
Is it "brave and body positive" to show skin as a fit, conventionally attractive person?? If i was Minhi, I'd feel so confused and low key backhanded if all the judges were acting like my natural body is so unconventional to not feminize. 💀💀 Jaylene was definitely robbed of a win here over some misguided idea of body positivity...
Conventionally attractive male body doesn't equate to a conventionally attractive female body. I assume it's about celebrating beautiful muscular women.
@MsDecens I get that but at the same time, i don't lol. Plus sized queens don't get the same kind of reverence for showing skin and slim queens will still get praise for their natural bodies that can easily be feminized without padding or corsets. Like to me, praising Minhi like she did something revolutionary kinda calls out the show's own body standards because this is hardly pushing the needle.
@sapphic.flower it was just a piece of cloth over something we don't know how good or not was done underneath, Mini made the catsuit with mesh in it, so her piece had more work on it
I do disagree with your statement on minhi. I think she absolutely deserves the win hands down. Her fast fashion hit the brief to a tee and her slow mo was breathtaking but also held a very important message
idk call me crazy but i kinda liked uma's fast fashion look 🙈 maybe it'd be better if the pants connected by the ankle so it was more of a cutout vibe (a la monet x change's wheel of fortune design look from as7) but i love the colors a lot
i agree about their comments on the winner's body though, like oh you have a beautiful sculpted muscle body you're so brave for showing it off 😭 i think they may have just been h0rny
Honestly shocked me that everybody loved her on S16. Plane was just trying so hard to be the villain from the jump, that I felt we rarely got an authentic moment. It was hard to see her charisma.
@@kellygreengables3936 I mean the fans ask for drama each season like how the older season were, but the queens are more scared as each season goes by because they're afraid of saying something that could cancel them. As forced as it was, it was helpful for the other queens to be honest with another and read each other without thinking of the consequences. Was it necessary to come off so hard on Amanda? No. But did it give the other girls a chance to read her and each other? Yeah. Even Plane acknowledges that she did it to make the season interesting. I mean a lot of people didn't really received All Stars 9 very well because there was just not much storyline to go off of. While in All Stars 7, it made sense there was no drama because they were winners (although a lot of it was cut). Idk I think the fans should reevaluate when they say they want drama in a season. Each time a queen gives what the fandom wants, they just immediately cancel her without explanation other than that she was "mean". I see both sides of loving Plane Jane and also seeing she could've done better with how she should've brought the drama. It was good that they brought to her attention that she was being harsh and could ultimately ruin her reputation. I'm sure she's different from what we see her on TV, but she keeps the act since it is drag race.
@@kellygreengables3936 yeah people "loved her" I don't think that was the case but the fact that he's attractive and rupaul fans love a "trade" so... Pretty privilege in my opinion with no judge of real character
@@kellygreengables3936when plane was on give it to me straight, I thought she would lower the mask a bit, but she didn't. Not one vulnerable moment, and if it did start getting personal, she would make a joke or try to read Maddie. It felt almost confrontational. It's like she can't drop the act because she thinks it would hurt her being a villain in our eyes. But every good villain is fun and witty and can also be real with people, which Jane never does.
Genuinely, no matter how hard I try, I just can't like Plain Jane. She's very egotistical, constantly wanting to steal the spotlight (even if they make up afterward), and seemingly can't handle anyone getting more spotlight than her even for a second.
Same thing baby, same here. It was fun for a bit after the season ended and I was over her attempt at a mistreatment of Amanda, but it got so tired afterwards and it has never been funny again. She feels like a very forced personality.
@redduskironsky1058 Exactly!! I just wanna know what the real Plain Jane is like. Her constant seeking of camera time and attention is really hindering her drag imo
I also am not a huge fan of her persona. I feel like she got a lot of excuses on S16 because she brought drama and was just trolling. But there's a line where sometimes the joke goes too far or gets tired.
I was 🍃 when I was watching and did the same thing as you. I was like oh wow this a good design challenge until the actual design portion of the runway started 😂💀

27:07 yes, they basically showed us two pleas from Maykalya, first the "boss bad b*tch" speach and then when she noticed it didnt work, she played the tears and (let's be honest) the trans/race card. And it worked.
Out of everyone in the bottom she was the only one with a fit that looked cute. Also minimizing someone to the “trans/race” card is why yt gays are as unlikeable as their straight counterpart
Couture is not fast fashion. I think some of the girls like xana and pearla went a little too far with their designs. Rather than sticking to the theme, fast fashion
You know...this just popped in my head when you mentioned Design Challenge. What would be an amazing new competition would have the Queens rely on a Designer for their looks, one that does everything for them.
I feel they kept Virgo out of the top if only to let other queens a chance to shine. Giving Minnie the win feels like giving her some plot armour, as it feels like she's the narrator of the season. I low key HATED the design theme.

I feel like it’s a repeat of last season, where she and Makayla are the people everybody wants to win, but Virgo is the queen who actually does. Nothing against Virgo though! She’s a million times better than Venus ever could be or will be
For me its Virgo, she’s shown herself to be well rounded. Perla has good fashion but is inconsistent in other regards.
LOOVE the sponsor for today!!
yay me too the new game is so fun!
I feel like Jane knows her drag is basic, so she tries to amp up the drama to compensate. I love drama but her's isn’t doing for me for some reason.
Im a simple human. I see a Bussy Q notification and I click ❤ p.s Plane is such a shady B, Love it 😂
she constantly entertains me
It is really weird that fast fashion was a category, that's why it was so confusing. I understand that she wanted to be proud of her body, but it really is hard to sympathize with somebody who is a perfect 10 in the eyes of most people 🤷🏽♀️
“WOMENS WORLD SINGER” 😭😭😭😭
You thinking they made all those slow mo outfits 😂 I can imagine how gagged you were
Sanjina was deff the confessional queen and personality of season 5. I was so sad to see her go but I don’t think she was as ready as she thought for drag race. She’ll deff slay the competition once she does a little more growing as a person and performer/drag artist ❤❤❤ much love for her 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
They were supposed to look like u can them on Amazon.. Minhi killed it ❤️
Team Q for the sheer fact she was pointing out PJ’s hypocrisy talking about other girls looks when she was lookin busted with her breast plate hangin out, which is clearly what Q grabbed.
Let's just hope you don't get mad when someone grabs Qs reaaaaal hurrrr hennyyyyy
@@KyRogersOh here comes the idiots with that stupid shit, all yall do is cry about that, yall are so tired already.
5 flames for a bunch of mismatched feathers glued on a corset? Come off it.
Stop relying on that bodybuilder~ 💪🏻
Jaylene won it for me too. The edit was big on Mini I’m gonna guess she makes the finale and probable wins another challenge.
Q was in the wrong here because she should have never put her hands on Plane.
Right that’s so out of pocket like interrupting someone performance…
@@evandampman8076 we can acknowledge that both are wrong. This concept is only difficult if someone has only two brain cells.
i agree. Plane’s a betch but drag is a NO contact sport
28:01 GIRL, That is NOT Xana 😭
brb im firing my editor!!!
@BussyQueen Kudos for fixing that, for managing 🥹
Who was it before the blur??
@@ProfZ. Helena
Is it "brave and body positive" to show skin as a fit, conventionally attractive person?? If i was Minhi, I'd feel so confused and low key backhanded if all the judges were acting like my natural body is so unconventional to not feminize. 💀💀
Jaylene was definitely robbed of a win here over some misguided idea of body positivity...
@sapphic.flower it was just a piece of cloth over something we don't know how good or not was done underneath, Mini made the catsuit with mesh in it, so her piece had more work on it
@@griseldadominguez8734 Huh?? Did we look at the same garment? 😭😭 Jaylene had really cool construction to her piece
I like what someone said on facebook Aircraft and The Doll made up back stage
I'm surprised that they haven't called her out for the cheek makeup, maybe we just need Michelle to do that!!
@@alrightyru I know right. It's so distracting.
Didn’t expect my Infinity Nikki / Bussy Queen universes to cross but that actually checks tbh
Plane just cringy and tries way too hard. It might work if she had an once of Charm, but she doesn't.
Ntm on mother plane
Ok :)
I agree what she did was annoying, but Roxxxy just SHOULD have finished her number. Thats so unprofessional imo to just leave.
I was 🍃 when I was watching and did the same thing as you. I was like oh wow this a good design challenge until the actual design portion of the runway started 😂💀
uma’s look is definitely not chartreuse, it looks straight yellow to me ! still bad
I don't know why or how but Perla just give me some Icesis Couture in and out of drag. Maybe it's just me 😅
Fast Fashion is of course horrible on an ethical level, but it also fails on an entertainment level. You want them to make looks that are cheap and reproducible? Okay... how is that fun for us to watch? We got a bunch of weird mediocre moments. Just weird...
Love the Infinity Nikki spons😍
Pachuka shells?? lol
Uma wearing green/chartreuse? I must be color blind because I see canary yellow. 🤔
Infinity Nikki is LIT. Seriously worth the download. It's also free, and while it IS a gacha game the gacha is totally optional. The currency for it is pretty generous with event rewards and stuff too!
No because all tea all shade this is exactly what happened
Sanjina did the same thing
You clearly aren’t a POC! You wouldn’t understand what we go through! How we have to put up a front and when we finally breakdown we get judged.
Oh she lost the beaver imo with that first speech.
EXACT same thing happened to me thinking their first runways were the ones they made!
Bussy thanks for the side eye on Katy Perry, I can't stand her so thankfully the guest judges aren't on screen for too long! 😂
I can respect Minhi winning but I was initially shocked because I could’ve SWORN the three safe queens were top three lol
No shade but you thought Xana was in the top ?
@@maximeminassian6002 I thought she was the best
It didn't read fast fashion, it was couture for me.
I also thought Xana and Perla were in the top, jaylene winning
Couture is not fast fashion. I think some of the girls like xana and pearla went a little too far with their designs. Rather than sticking to the theme, fast fashion
I really agree with bussy on Sanjina's first look. I get why the judges complimented her so much on it, but to me t was very lacking.
You know...this just popped in my head when you mentioned Design Challenge. What would be an amazing new competition would have the Queens rely on a Designer for their looks, one that does everything for them.
They got Jessie J to sing the theme song of Infinity Nikki😭🖐🏻
I feel they kept Virgo out of the top if only to let other queens a chance to shine. Giving Minnie the win feels like giving her some plot armour, as it feels like she's the narrator of the season.
I low key HATED the design theme.
im actually already playing Infinity Nikk as i listen to this vid
skskks
yayy!!! its such a fun and cute game!
