He never stops to amaze me. He is truly inspirational person, not only because of how he has succeeded and evolved as an artist. Also his personality, he has inspired me to be a better person, to value friends and family in a different way, not to take things too seriously but also to... to take things into my own hands, I mean like if I want to achieve something in my life, I'll need to start doing something to reach it. There would be so many things I have learned or realised because of him. I might have used way too much time just hanging on my phone watching his social media content or other videos or interviews of him, but I don't feel like that time is wasted for nothing. I have seriously grown as a person contemplating his journey.
I am so thankful for him, and so proud of him. It is fair to say, that this has really been something so much more than just one Eurovision entry. And I am so thankful that I have had a chance to be here for it.

I watched that on TV and I had goosebumps from the beginning! I am so proud of him and the Finnish madness he brings to the world. Our reputation is perhaps a quiet and restrained country, but really Finns are just like that audience over there. From big decision-makers to "ordinary spectators" dancing together. Käärijä has brought us together and brought a lot more joy and dancing in here.

Interesting is that he released his first album in 2020 and just a few days back he was awarded as the best new artist of 2023 in Emma Gaala (Finnish Grammy).
More relevant awards given to him were "Artist of the year", "Song of the year" and "Export Emma for an artist who takes Finnish music abroad". Those are big awards, he got them all.
And all through the awards ceremonies and flow of thank you speeches, he would mock Behm (his friend) who won seven Emma awards in 2021 and this year she was nominated in six categories but won none. At one point Käärijä was again announced a winner of some category, he would take Behm by her hand and walk her on the stage, give her his award: "Hold this" and then he started mocking her again. By the end of the mockery he gave microphone to Behm who'd say: "Thank you for my ten seconds of attention."
Behm is a much more serious artist, but together they are just two goofballs.
