Thanks for this excellent and detailed video. I've often taken the T21 bus to Southkey Mall, but your video pointed out things that were interesting but not so obvious.
Be careful and alert when taking T21, these buses are mostly curtained and is a good source of environment for pickpocket activities. 2 Malay characters were seen coming up onboard at Stulang area, chose their own seats one in front and one at the rear (seated besides me and put his bag over my lap covering my pocket (luckily my wallets and phone were on the other side of my pants, he then changed his seat to the rear sitting with a fat man ...... both alighted together at Sri Pelangi, then went different ways. A while later, one fat man whom the suspect went to sit with, found his wallet and phone lost !!
Thank you for sharing your experience! I'm sorry to hear about the incident, but glad you managed to keep your belongings safe. Always be vigilant and aware of your surroundings, especially when travelling on public transport.
It might be worth mentioning that bus T21 is routinely operated by Transit Link (Johor Bahru) Sdn Bhd, not Handal Indah Sdn Bhd myBAS Johor Bahru T21 is the direct successor to City Bus 123 ("City Bus" being the brand name of Transit Link JB)
I was trying to find this bus some time ago, it is unfortunate that the whole experience is unwelcoming and just an afterthought. More can be done to improve the service and infrastructure of which can be seen across the strait.

When midvalley just open, there is a RM2 only bus, direct to mall dropoff, no need walk in.

No wonder the condition of the bus interior is not up to Handal Indah standard.

It’s good to see that this route exists at all.
very confusing and misleading display on the bus. The bus management should take note on this pressing issue .
Msia public bus service is not tourist friendly. You need to be a local or really street smart to find your way around.
Hence I hope this video helps people find their way around.
touch and go dont work on this bus? where to get the manjalink?
You can buy a manjalink card from the JB Sentral counter. You can also use Visa credit card or exact cash to pay for your bus ride.
