King George Whiting, Blackwood River Augusta

While there has been minimal rain down south at the moment I'd heard the KG's had moved up river and holding close to the drop offs near the channels. No monsters around but was epic to just hang out at Kenny's house, drinks some beers and go fishing with the old man. Cheers for watching Champs.

Yeah mate if you can find this spot on google maps. It's near the skinny channel up river from town. Look for the small jetty on the coastal side.

Narr we have never seen any squid over the years fishing the Blackwood River mate. We have caught them out of the river mouth in the bay though only a few hundred metres from the Marina👍. Only ever as a by-catch though, have never found them in decent numbers.
